Yeah we really seem to be struggling in the SPL, when we're at the top of it

you are ahead in the 1 horse race by goal difference to the worst hibs team in decades, you are dropping points on a very regular basis, i know plenty of tims who arent happy with that

Laudrop/3rdDiv.I didnt mention the other night anywhere in this post, it was not in my thinking when i was writing this so I am not getting ahead of myself at all.

ah so you were thinking about the dundee united Collapse and the killie and saints doings

What we are saying is, within our price range i don't see us bettering our starting 11

As 3rd div said, we are doing well with our strategy and i wouldn't change it:

Forster - £2M
Lustig - Free
Matthews - Free
K Wilson - Free
Ambrose - £1M
Izzy - £600,000
Mulgrew - Free
Rogne - Free
Forrest - Free
ledley - Free
Wanyama -£900,000
Brown - £4.4M
Kayal - £1.2M
Samaras - £1M
Commons - £500,000
McCourt - £250,000
Watt - £100,000
Miku - Free
Hooper - £2.4M
Stokes - £1M
Zaluska - Free

No to mention Ki for £2M and sold for £6M

£17M in transfer fees... we could make 90% of that back with just selling Wanyama

no Laudraup i was thinking about the fact we are sitting 2nd in our champs league group, top of the SPL, still in all cups, and reportadly have clubs like Manchester United ready to offer big money for our top players. So it got me thinking can we contnue this upward curve that we haveundoubtably been on since lenny took or have we reached a level that we should be happy with and try to maintain.

NNH you put it very well, I am really asking, spending the money we can and the wages we can, are we able to put togeather a better squad than what we currently have??? or is it just about maintaining this level??

Doire top Celtic players wont be getting anymore than 20k a week and you should stick to this!

Depends on how ambitious the board and the fans want to be. If we wanted to go further, your talking about £10M on world class players, the fans would need to dig deep to maintain that as well as the board.

I'm more than happy to live well within our means and watch a young vibrant talented squad who love and know what it takes to play for Glasgow Celtic

you maybe have inside information but i fingd it hard to believe that broony is on that, celtic haver to be commended on their business model, they havent wavered from it under pressure from fans at time, the £32k a week doesnt fit into it im afraid therefore i find it astonishing that he would be paid that

He should Div but i have a feeling we would accept £12M

I never learnt anything in maths..

Is 90% of £17M really £17M ?

Laudrup, that is gods honest truth mate

Gary Hooper and Wanyama combined don't make that so kinda backs up their agents claim for deserving of more money

posted on 9/11/12

yea quebec we all know how clever you are with your petty name calling when someone doesnt agree with you, you dont even have the gumption to put a point accross
