Thought Wanyama was head and shoulders above everyone today. Only midfielder trying to create anything by passing it up the channels, the only reason he was lobbing them was Aberdeen's tight defence and complete lack of movement from our strikers
Just confirms the "dont judge a book by the cover" theory. I thought what the effis this guy on about calling Ledley a big jessie from the headline
Scrappy game today, Aberdeen played well (for Aberdeen), closed us down rapidly and booted every one of our players including Forster.
Better team won.
They played to their strengths. Can ask any team to do more . The end result was a fare reflection in the gulf in quality between the sides.
Tough game for keeping possesion, I though Wanyama was one of our best performers today.
Wanyama, Matthews were our two best.
Watt, Lustig and Efe were the only others who got passmarks from me today
Ran the midfield ,also while they might not have something to show for it thought Watt and Sammy put in a great team shift
I thought this was a thread about their birds for a while
If you watch it back wanyama gave away possesion more than most - actuqlly mulgrew probably wasnt far behind. I love big vic as a player but that doesnt effect the way he played today. Yes he won a number of his 50/50s but his passing was shocking.
Great result for us, but I wasn't too happy with the tactics, although I suppose Lenny has a great amount of leeway with that down to both the injuries and the important game in midweek.
