Very competitive. Hardly any thrashings by the big boys.
Just maybe 1 or 2.
Every away game is a potential banana skin no matter who you are.
City were running away with it this time last year, now they've drawn 5 games.
Atleast you're honest Mexican! <Laugh>
Certainly worse than it was. Really can't put my finger on what the turning point was- maybe the restarting of Real signing 'Galacticos', they took Alonso who was really key to Liverpool, and Ronaldo who was probably the best player the league's ever seen. I think the Prem saw a peak in standard from 2005-2009, and now we're simply back to normal.
Red Rob, yes city have drawn 5 but they are still unbeaten and a bit like us haven't got out of 1st gear really. I actually think our away performances except Norwich have been better than our home games.
P poor. Getting worse by the season.
Had fergie not been an idiot with team selection doubt we would of lost a game yet.
City and us have been very poor and still comfortable as fook.
Arsenal and spurs are worse.
Chelsea have an awful manager.
Doesn't bode well
Chelsea started off well, but I can only see the slide continuing under Rafa.
They may be good in the middle, but they lack Drogba, and their defence is kak.
Arsenal are kak, Spurs inconsistant, Everton keep dropping points.
So, there really are two CL places up for grabs.
Laugh at me if you must, but I can see Liverpool going on a bit of run, so long as Suarez doesn't get injured.
^3 wins in 13 games suggests otherwise.
Still think arsenal and Chelsea will get the spots by default. WBA will drop away.

Hmm, I won't laugh at you but Liverpool are actually getting worse. Putting Stewart Downing at left back shows just how clueless Rodgers is.
They've only won 3 games this season and don't really look like changing that trend.
They mucked up big style by not bringing in another striker at the start of the season and are paying for it.
Spurs will be the team to watch this season now they finally have their top players back (for 3rd place)
Vidicschin,
I can see Liverpool certainly buying a striker in January to take the pressure off Suarez. Maybe that will spur them on to get atleast 5th this season.
Chelsea will improve again, they always seem to do so after the new year. Will Rafa be allowed to spend money in January?
Believe me Suarez is not a consistent scorer. His purple patch is about to end and hell hit a brick wall. And between now and jan Liverpool will suffer for their stupidity of not bringing a striker in.
His purple patch is about to end
You can argue it's already ended, he missed so many chances to score yesterday. And Hendo's miss with an open goal shocking player
I was shocked last night, when i looked to see Suarez is the Top Scorer.
Spurs will be the team to watch this season
..................
No, not a chance. They are another team that should be better than they are.
But they drop way to many stupid points.
Serious question, will city go the league unbeaten? I think this also indicates what i think our chances are in the derby!

You really should look up someones goal scoring record before making such an utterly incorrect remark.
300 goals in 172 appearances tells me that he is a very consistant goal scorer, especially for someone who isn't an out and out striker.

Do you mean the guy who has 34 goals in 70 games for LFC, 111 in 157 for Ajax and 30 in 60 for Uruguay?
Either the entire league is getting worse, or the league is actually becoming more competitive.
Personally, I'll opt for the latter.

I've got a horrible feeling that they will.
I rate Suarez but up until recently he was known as a guy who missed far too many chances at Liverpool.
I doubt even most Liverpool fans will deny that.
Last season he and Liverpool cost me so much money in bets when they were so very very complacent in front of goal, Suarez included.
The guy is much better this season and we're seeing the real Suarez, not the one who could be so much better than he was.
Agree with RipleysCat. Clubs are highly organised, have match winners and have better technical abilities as teams. That's my take on it.
Jalisco, no.
People thought the same last season around this time but they still have to go to Old Trafford, Arsenal, Everton and Spurs.
They are a worse team this season than last and I had the Wigan game on the TV last night and while City won comfortably enough at the end, Wigan were very good for 60 mins but lacked the proper strikers to punish City.
Other teams won't be so wasteful.
