I have faith in Arsene Wenger.

Wenger was done 2-3 seasons ago, Cesc and RVP were the only ones who were saving his bacon and now that they're gone his weaknesses are getting brutally exposed.

Fair play for your consistency then Verm, but I do not and I haven't for a while now. I want him to leave at the end of the season.

I have to admit even the players look like they don't have faith in Arsene anymore. No fight, no desire to fight for the manager.

I hope I'm wrong, because I love the guy.

But Arsene is done.

His recent record in the transfer market is pathetic and I worry that we might end up with even more dross if he decides to spend in January. A new manager is desperately needed before things get completely out of hand.

No faith in the man now. Sorry to say it but his tactics this year have been facking shocking

Fair enough Samir. I fully respect the opinion of people who want Wenger out, what I don't like is when people change their opinions on a weekly basis or only make articles (give opinions) when we've had a bad day, not saying any names.

Dear me, maybe the rest of your article has merit but I stopped reading when I saw you say that we have had plenty of money to spend. To answer your question, yes I do believe he will turn things around and I do have faith in him.

I have faith in Wenger, but i can't deny that i am starting to waver. However i think it is far more important to get rid of the board rather than Wenger. If we get a new manager in i can't see any change in our competitiveness, the only way to return to the glory days any time soon is by getting rid of Stan

Please explain how we have £200m cash reserves and please explain how our wage bill is increasing every year despite selling the likes of Nasri, van Persie, Fabregas, Clichy, Song, Flamini, Hleb and everyone else. How can our wage bill be so close to United's?

It's a complete myth we have little money to spend.

It's hard to know. Watching the team, seeing the same issues for the past few seasons, with them only getting worse. He sticks with a formation that doesn't get the best out of our players, refuses to address personnel issues, won't change tactics. Yes he did wonders for this club, but everyone's time comes to an end.

You'll never know what will happen unless you take the tough decision, but for me, he isn't up to it at moment and I can't realy see that changing.

I'd love to see pep come in and I think he'd be keen , but with this board, I fear wengers replacement will be bould

I would rather wenger can stay and bring success back. The final straw may go for me though if we don't bring in QUALITY in January, and especially if we let theo go. Wenger can turn it around, but he's running out of excuses. We have money now, he has to spend. And maybe if the board won't let him, then even so he should go. Because clearly he isn't the man to bring the best out of the players. I just hope the board bring in a quality replacement manager, and not just bould for a season to see how it goes. Because no decent manager means no good players will join.

Yeah, I hope Arsene can save himself in January. Hold on to your hats for all the games before that though.

Because this is just a tiny layer of the encompassing mismanagement that has been covered up and people have turned a blind eye to for years now. So many mistakes have been made and the ongoing stubborn attitude has seen much papering over the cracks and foundations ripped out entirely.

How can you put faith in a manager who has won absolutely nothing in 7+ years and has allowed our best players to leave without equivalent replacements.

How can a club continue to accept such poor quality football by a team who despite their limited resources gave us a spanking today.

If it was not for Szczesny we might have lost by four goals.

How can we accept so called investment in the likes of
Santos,Chamakh,Squillaci and Gervinho all of whom are grossly overpaid and unsaleable.

What is the pulling power of a club led by Wenger? The answer is none.

We need to offload not only the manager and half the squad, but our geriatic board of directors and above all
the major shareholder who has frankly no interest in football apart from his 'capital investment'.

Very sad story for fans like me who have spent almost
£4,000 on two season tickets to watch this tosh.

Spot on, we make it possible but we don't get too much respect for it

This relates directly to the board not Wenger, if the money was available to buy players of the ilk of Henry, Vieira, Fabregas and RVP he would. But unfortunately the board won't allow Wenger 30m to buy quality players

I'm not entirely sure if I believe the last sentence, but even if that was true, that's no excuse for his poor management of the players. He does not adapt his formation and tactics in accordance to the opposition, he can't motivate his players, he makes bizarre substitutions, he isn't ruthless enough with some of the players and he has been so obsessed over the last few years with building a young side that can play purist football (and hasn't valued experience enough) that it has inadvertently affected our chances of silverware over the years because he did not work to the players' strengths.

Our best chance of creating a brilliant team again since 07/08 was in the 10/11 season - and even though the team were feeling demoralised from the CC final, there was no excuse for that shocking run of form we went on.

I honestly don't think he's the man to take us forward anymore.

I hope this isn't tongue in cheek, but i agree, we will get 3rd. But it's very important to attack the board whilst we can and force a few high profile signings if possible

Arsene Wengers Wife

That is an excuse that we have now heard for a long
time.

Frankly if it was true an 'honourable manager' would have walked, because he knows that the team is uncompetitive.

The reality is that other clubs with a fraction of our budget have spent £20-30 million on players.

We are also uncompetitive in wage market because of
the absurd policy of spending £50,000+ pw on mediocrity whilst unwilling to pay top wages to world
class players. Man Utds wage bill is not significantly
higher than ours, but they will pay almost £200,000 pw
for genuine world class.

Finally please explain to me why we have allowed
Walcott to wind down his contract to under 1 year. The
agents have us over a barrel. This is a demonstration
of just how stupid the people running the club are.
