Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has won the Ballon d'Or award for the world's best player for a record sixth time.

It is the 32-year-old Argentine's first Ballon d'Or since 2015 and comes after he scored 54 times for club and country in 2018-19, in which Barca won La Liga.

Virgil van Dijk was second - one of four Liverpool players in the top seven, including Sadio Mane in fourth.

Juventus and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won the award five times, was third in the voting.

After being a reader for the last few years and now being back in England after working aboard for 18 months I thought I would finally come back and post on Ja while I have more time and the excitement of getting myself a season ticket for the new stadium. I have pretty much read every comment and I thought it would be nice to get back in touch with everyone, but I was wrong.

Galvin has always had a conspiracy theory on his mind, no Idea why, maybe it’s a distraction from the fact he sells crappy dishwashers, is under the thumb and has a tiny balcony he seems to think overlooks the coliseum. I read with interest his views on 9/11..up until the point where he said it was “interesting” that hardly any Jewish people were caught up in the horrific attacks, he didn’t say the Jews were behind it, but he didn’t really have too. Edin also put his tuppence worth in. These comments have been simmering for quite a few years. I decided to let this go and thought meh just Galvin and Edin killing some time talking crap (even though highly offensive), anyone who leaves the house wearing different shoes on each feet isn’t really worth getting wound up over.

I’ve only just caught up with recent comments having been away with work aboard and one of the first comments I come back to is Edin, out of the blue posting “Gal Dadot is a Zionist” and my heart filled with dread, fully expecting the same old Jew hating rubbish you read on twitter..and I was not disappointed. In pops Sizzle, clearly someone with the attention span of a brain-dead fish whos parents were cousins, and the IQ lower than Maf’s. Of course he has an opinion on the matter, having been surrounded by Corbyns Labour propaganda for years, he is the kind of person who would applaud Gobbles.

What really tipped everything over the edge was sizzles comment – “well if you spent your whole life living under some vile apartheid occupation you’d probably want to kill your oppressors too”. Here he is, the big man, the human rights activist saying its perfectly fine to kill Israelis and not one of you said anything, utterly disgusting.

Do you even know what Zionism or apartheid is?
Or are you SO blinded by the lies you read from the hard left? To be against Zionism is to be against a safe place for Jewish people, THE most oppressed religion for population (0.01% of the worlds population). What possible reason can you have to deny the Jewish people a TINY bit of land to call their own? Its not even land, it’s a dessert they have made into a fantastic country, a country that thrives everyday. Now onto that famous word amongst the corbyn cult, “apartheid”, you’re telling me the ONLY country in the middle east whos Christian population has increased dramatically and the only country in the middle east where homose xuals are able to live a free life is apartaid? A Jewish country surrounded by countless Arab countries and you’re making out like the Arab people have nowhere to live? You want to know what apartheid is, having an Israeli stamp in your passport and automatically being banned from travel to 14 countries. If you actually cared about the Palestinian people (which I doubt, what have you don’t personally to help them?) and are not just hating on the Jews then why not question why they continue to elect Hamas as their leaders. A terrorist organization that spends more money on weapons, tunnels and rockets to kill Israelis than they do on their own people? A government who rewards family’s for killing Israelis, this is the type of people you are defending and why the Jewish people need a safe place. To reject Israel’s right to resist is just hatred. I don’t expect Sizzle to understand because he is thick as anything and is under the Corybn spell.

So next time Sizzle you’re spouting your equal rights, remember you condoned the killing of innocent people. Disgusting to say the least. You support a party and a man who are filled with hate.

Myself and all my family have been devoted Labour supporters for decades so you cant even use the old “Tory smear” line. We refuse to support a man who encourages and is a figurehead of semitism, a man who at every opportunity takes the side of the UK’s enemies.

I dreaded reading todays comments on good news. There was a huge demonstration against Corbyn and his enabling of anti-Semitism at Parliament yesturday and of course Edinspur and Galvin and Stacey had their “views” to express and what a shock, Israel was brought up. This has nothing to do with Israel, its pure old Jew hate.

To read comments like – “I don’t think I'm allowed to post my views on Jews on this forum” is absolutely disgusting, and you just laughed.

The demonstration was against Jew hatred, not Israel, not Palestine and yet you can’t help yourselves can you.

What the demonstration was against is the old nonsense people say about Jews controlling the world, controlling the media and the poxy weather. That Jews use the blood of non Jews in their food, that they all have big noses and care only about money. The fact that the Labour party is riddled with holocaust deniers. You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is 2018. All of these things are all over the Labour forums, twitter and facebook.

When your party is led by a man who calls Hamas his friends, invites holocaust deniers and blood libelers to parliament, who goes on Iranian press TV (paid £20,000) to talk about Jews controlling the media, to attending MEND meetings who Channel 4 did a documentary on for their undeniable links to Islamic terrorism, who refuses to expel Ken Livingstone who on Holocaust Memorial Day went on Press TV to discuss if the Jews have exploited the Holocaust for their own gains, who has signed up to not one, not two, but 3 Jew hating facegroup groups who talk about ending the Jewish race, I mean do I go on or what?
But yes yes, this is all about Israel….

I would just like to say I feel bad for Rap here, having to put up with your disgusting hatred and lies, hes a bigger man than all of you. Having said that, TBOK is a legend, a good guy in my eyes. Blarmy and oneman also.

Apparently the comments posted in recent weeks are now welcomed in England in 2018, how very sad.

When it gets a point where people are telling Jews what they should and shouldn't be offended by, i think we have a problem.

Edinspur, Galvin, and Sizzle, go feck yourselves. Take your Jew hatred and crap and kindly jump in a river.

Don’t bother replying because I'm not reading this tripe anymore, it all got a big awkward anyway, Edin and Galv trying to prove how hilarious they are to each other, just book a room together and get it over with.

TBOK , hilarious as ever, good luck with the wedding

Even though it is tight, I still think Solihull will win the league.

Although the romance in me would like to see Barrow win it. They have had it tough.

It's not coming until after Starfield, Bethesda's next big project, which itself has no release date and only a teaser trailer. Full development on The Elder Scrolls 6 likely won't start until that project is finished, which likely puts The Elder Scrolls 6's release date sometime in the early 2020s.

As external conditions change, it becomes tougher to meet the three conditions that sociologists since the 1950s have considered crucial to making close friends: proximity; repeated, unplanned interactions; and a setting that encourages people to let their guard down and confide in each other

These men appear to be eating Cornish pasties**, a hardy, hi-carb staple prepared most often by the miners' wives. One style of pasty was a long, all-in-one meal with beef, potatoes, turnips, and a vegetable mixture filled into one end and a sweet or dessert type of mixture filled into the other end.
