Max Aarons scored his first goal in almost two years as Norwich City regained top spot in the Championship with a late comeback win over Sheffield Wednesday at Carrow Road.

The Canaries had been trailing after Josh Windass - back in Wednesday's line-up after suspension - headed home Adam Reach's cross on the hour.

But the home side turned the match around in the last 10 minutes, with teenage substitute Josh Martin grabbing his first senior goal before full-back Aarons fired in the winner.

The result pushed Wednesday back to the foot of the table and leaves them still searching for their first win since Tony Pulis took charge.

Jacob Davenport rescued a point for 10-man Blackburn Rovers against Brentford in the first match played in front of fans at the Community Stadium.

Joe Rothwell put Rovers in front with a super solo effort, running past three reluctant challenges before lashing a shot into the corner from 18 yards.

A straight red card for Blackburn skipper Darragh Lenihan after bringing down Ivan Toney looked harsh, but the in-form striker took full advantage, firing the penalty into the bottom corner to level.

Sergi Canos' own moment of magic put the Bees ahead, dancing past three challenges before lashing a shot into the far top corner, but Davenport poked home a late equaliser after the hosts failed to clear.

Cadiz beat Barcelona for the first time in La Liga since 1991 as former Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo scored a famous winner.

It was a first home win in the top flight against any opposition for promoted Cadiz since 2006 and takes them four points above Barcelona.

Alvaro Gimenez put Cadiz in front before an own goal from Pedro Alcala brought Barca, who are seventh, level.

Negredo took advantage of shambolic defending to score the winner.

The 35-year-old, who had only been on the pitch for 44 seconds, closed down Marc-Andre ter Stegen before rounding the sliding Frenkie de Jong to tap into an empty net.

I definitely agree that the tactics at L'pool failed him & at Zorya being partnered with Hamza was unproductive. Sometimes the performances are not always due to the player but more down the set-up.

The COVID-19 science idiocy has a new contender: cheese. The dairy product is said to help with coronavirus infection because of its high content of Vitamin K, which is a fat-soluble, diet-acquired blood clotting factor. The authors are some clinicians from Nijmegen, and two thieves from Maastricht who defrauded their university over a… Vitamin K business.
