Belarus has been disqualified from the Eurovision Song Contest for twice fielding songs deemed to have broken the rules of the competition.

The country was told to submit a new song two weeks ago over concerns their entry had a political subtext.

But the re-submission, by the same group, has now also been deemed inappropriate by contest organisers.

The band, Galasy ZMesta, is known for mocking anti-government protests.

Large-scale demonstrations took place across Belarus last year after Alexander Lukashenko claimed victory in a disputed presidential election.

An ice hockey referee has been banned by the NHL after being caught on a microphone saying he wanted to call a penalty against one of the teams he was officiating.

Tim Peel was wearing a microphone during the Nashville Predators' win over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.

After giving a questionable tripping decision against a Predators player, Peel was heard saying, "It wasn't much, but I wanted to get a penalty against Nashville early" before his microphone was cut off.

"There is no justification for his comments, no matter the context or his intention, and the National Hockey League will take any and all steps necessary to protect the integrity our game," said an NHL statement.

Peel, 54, who has refereed over 1,300 NHL games, was due to retire at the end of the season in April.

Promotion-chasing Peterborough United roared to their biggest win since 2007 as they humiliated awful Accrington Stanley.

League One leading scorer Jonson Clarke-Harris needed only three minutes to put Darren Ferguson's men ahead and then helped himself to a second goal five minutes later as the floodgates opened.

Sammie Szmodics rifled in a third for Posh in the 23rd minute and put the result beyond any doubt when doubling his tally three minutes into the second half.

The prolific Clarke-Harris then completed his second hat-trick of a stunning campaign in the 64th minute when a cross from Joe Ward - who had a hand in four of the Posh goals - was sliced into his path by a defender.

And there was no respite for sorry Stanley after Clarke-Harris was substituted as his replacement Mo Eisa also got in on the act with 12 minutes to go.

Eisa was superbly picked out by Szmodics to claim his first league goal of the season before fellow substitute Idris Kanu completed the rout in the 82nd minute with his first Posh goal as Stanley suffered their heaviest defeat since returning to the Football League in 2006.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) has launched an investigation after it emerged that the sample of a British Cycling rider contained traces of the steroid nandrolone after a test in late 2010.

Wada has told BBC Sport that it has now asked its Intelligence and Investigations Department to look into the matter, and to seek further information from UK Anti-Doping (Ukad).

Nandrolone is known as a 'threshold substance', where the amount found in a sample needs to be above certain thresholds to trigger action by an anti-doping organisation.

Back in late 2010, Ukad is understood to have told British Cycling that one of their riders' samples had contained a low level of nandrolone, possibly on the basis that it could be because of a health issue or a contaminated supplement.

Wada's investigation is likely to examine whether either of these explanations were established as the cause, and what further action may have been taken by Ukad.

Hal Robson-Kanu, Rabbi Matondo and Tyler Roberts have been released from the Wales squad after "breaching protocols".

The Football Association of Wales (FAW) did not specify the nature of the breach.

Wales are preparing for Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Czech Republic in Cardiff.

"The three players will be returning to their respective clubs this afternoon," said the FAW.

"The FAW will not be making any further comment."

Leeds United striker Roberts apologised and accepted his banishment, stating: "Gutted to be leaving the camp early, but rules are rules and I shouldn't have been up in the hotel later than the set time.

"Sorry to the team, staff and Wales fans.

"I will continue to work as hard as I can to earn my place in the squad for the Euros."

The fastest method to reach the cheese’s core? Using Gelmini machines!

The extraction of the cheese core both from hard cheeses, like Grana Padano or Parmigiano Reggiano, and from semi hard cheeses, like Leerdammer, Asiago, Montasio and Edamer, is a fundamental process in the industrial cheese manufacture, available both as an independent operation and as preliminary process for the product manufacturing.

Gelmini punching machines are capable of managing cheese wheels of different sizes and different densities, being thus forthcoming to every need that can arise in the field of extracting cores from cheeses.

A new Champions League format, featuring a 10-match first phase from 2024, is expected to be agreed by Uefa on Wednesday.

The proposal, which has been under discussion for almost two years, will be finalised on Tuesday and then signed off by Uefa's executive committee.

Under the new format, the current group phase will be scrapped.

In its place, the number of qualifiers will be expanded from 32 to 36, with space for two 'wild card' entries.

The wild cards will be reserved for clubs with the highest Uefa co-efficient - points used to rank clubs based on past European success - who have not qualified for the competition through their league position.

If the format was being used now, based on the current table it would mean Liverpool would gain a Champions League spot despite being seventh in the Premier League.
