Whilst the Vita hosted several acclaimed titles and built a small but loyal and passionate fanbase, the system is regarded as a commercial failure, with a lack of support from Sony and major third-party developers along with competition from the significantly more successful Nintendo 3DS and smart devices noted as major factors. Production of the system and physical game cards in the West ended in March 2019, with Sony having no plans for a successor.

The winner was Switzerland with the song "Ne partez pas sans moi", performed by Canadian singer Céline Dion and composed by Atilla Şereftuğ with lyrics in French by Nella Martinetti. Switzerland beat the United Kingdom by just one point in the last vote to win the title. Twenty-one countries took part, after an initial plan of twenty-two, as Cyprus was disqualified for breaching the contest's rules by being published a few years earlier, in an attempt to represent the country at a prior edition of the contest. The Cypriot song had been drawn to be performed 2nd in the running order.

Cameron Norrie became the final British player to fall in the French Open singles as he was unable to create a seismic shock against Rafael Nadal.

Norrie, 25, pushed the 13-time champion in their third-round match, but the Spaniard's quality proved too much.

The third seed won 6-3 6-3 6-3 to set up a last-16 match with Jannik Sinner.

Tbh I kinda felt like T&T would be kicked out when they were having stadium trouble by their local league. Then FIFA or CONCACAF sanction them for the stadium issue which made them not play for months. Then I noticed when they tied with Puerto Rico that they might be kicked out quickly, especially since St. Kitts & Nevis destroyed Guyana.
