Scotland beat Zimbabwe by 31 runs to end the hosts' hopes of qualifying for the World Cup and move to within one game of the finals.
In what was a must-win game for both sides, Scotland set a total of 234-8 after being put into bat first.
Zimbabwe lost four wickets for 37 runs early into their innings.
And, although Ryan Burl hit an impressive 83 to put the game in the balance, Tendai Chatara was bowled by Safyaan Sharif as the hosts fell short.
Sharif became the first Scot to take 100 international wickets, but it was three early wickets from man of the match Chris Sole that proved crucial.
Scotland will reach the World Cup for a fourth time should they defeat Netherlands on Thursday, while Zimbabwe miss out for the second finals in a row.
Eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer took the acclaim of an adoring Centre Court crowd in a special ceremony on day two to mark his achievements at the tournament.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion received a long ovation as he descended the steps of the Royal Box, where he was invited as a special guest to watch Tuesday's action.
Federer was joined by his wife and family, along with the Princess of Wales, patron of the All England Tennis Club.
The Swiss, 41, won five successive Wimbledon titles between 2003 and 2007, adding further victories in 2009, 2012 and 2017, and it is the first time he has returned to the venue since retiring last year.
His final win saw him pass Pete Sampras' men's record of seven titles.
Those with a ticket for Centre Court were treated to a video montage on the big screen which showed Federer through the years - from his first Wimbledon title win in 2003 to his last in 2017.
Federer then received a guard of honour in the Royal Box, smiling and waving to the crowd as they applauded and cheered one of the greatest players of all time.
With 103 ATP titles to his name and having spent 310 weeks as world number one, Federer is much-loved by the British crowds and the standing ovation lasted several minutes.
Brentford have completed a club record £23m deal to sign defender Nathan Collins from fellow Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Republic of Ireland international, 22, who only moved to Wolves from Burnley for £20.5m last summer, joins on a six-year deal.
Collins made 31 appearances for Wolves last season, helping them to finish 13th in the top flight.
"I'm very pleased we've managed to sign Nathan," said head coach Thomas Frank.
"He has a lot of very good abilities that we value a lot. He's a composed and calm defender. His heading in both boxes is a big thing, both in open play and from set-pieces, which is massive in the Premier League.
"His character is really good, and we know that character is everything. He will fit into our culture, I have no doubt about that. I see leadership potential in Nathan. He's a perfect Brentford player - hungry and ambitious with a desire to learn."
Collins breaks his own record as the most expensive Irish player.

The international friendly between the Gibraltar and Slovakia national football teams on 19 November 2013 was the first official match played by Gibraltar after joining the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). It took place at the Estádio Algarve in Faro/Loulé, Portugal with 350 fans in attendance. The Gibraltar Football Association chose to play at the Estádio Algarve as this would be the stadium the team would use for competitive matches as their only venue the Victoria Stadium was not eligible to. The game ended in a 0–0 draw which was seen as an upset with Slovakia being heavy favourites to defeat UEFA's newest members. Gibraltar defender Danny Higginbotham received the man of the match award.

British number five Liam Broady caused arguably the biggest shock at this year's Wimbledon with a remarkable five-set win over Norwegian fourth seed Casper Ruud on a frenzied Centre Court.
Katie Boulter, Britain's top-ranked woman, also reached the last 32 as she continues to thrive in the spotlight.
Broady, 29, danced with delight after sealing a 6-4 3-6 4-6 6-3 6-0 victory.
His second-round victory came shortly after Boulter beat Bulgaria's Viktoriya Tomova 6-0 3-6 6-3 in her match.
Fellow Briton Jan Choinski lost 6-4 6-4 7-6 (7-3) to Polish 17th seed Hubert Hurkacz earlier on Thursday.
Later, British former world number one Andy Murray plays Greek fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in a blockbuster final match on Centre Court.
OceanGate, the owner of the Titan submersible that imploded last month, killing all five passengers on board, has fully suspended its activities.
The company posted a one-line note on its website saying it had stopped "all exploration and commercial operations".
On its website the company had also advertised tours to the Portuguese archipelago of Azores and the Bahamas.
An investigation is ongoing into how the sub imploded during a dive to the Titanic wreck on 18 June.
Led by the US Coast Guard, authorities said the inquiry would aim to prevent similar accidents in future.
Defending champion Novak Djokovic says "it will be the duel of the veterans of the tour" when he faces old rival Stan Wawrinka at Wimbledon on Friday.
Wawrinka, 38, has twice beaten Djokovic in Grand Slam finals but says he "doesn't really stand a chance".
Andy Murray, 36, will finish his second-round match with 24-year-old fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, with the Briton leading by two sets to one.
One of the highlights of the day could well be the third-round meeting between three-time Grand Slam winner Wawrinka against 36-year-old Djokovic, who clinched his 23rd major at the French Open last month.
Two of Wawrinka's Slams have come against Djokovic - the 2015 French Open final and the 2016 US Open final - and the Serb has not forgotten.
Asked what role 88th-ranked Wawrinka has played in his career, a laughing Djokovic, 36, said: "Well, he took away two Grand Slams from me.
"No, I like Stan a lot. He's a great person and really inspirational what he's doing at his age. He's almost 40 and he still keeps going strong, that's something not many people can do.
"We can't forget he's a three-time Grand Slam champion, Davis Cup winner and also Olympic gold. He's had a fantastic career.
"We haven't faced in quite some time. It will be the duel of the veterans of the tour."

Andy Murray's hopes of a fine Wimbledon victory on the 10th anniversary of his 2013 title win were ended by fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in round two.
Stalled by Wimbledon's 11pm curfew on Thursday, the Briton lost 7-6 (7-3) 6-7 (2-7) 4-6 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 on Friday.
Shortly before Murray's loss, British number one Cameron Norrie fell 3-6 6-3 2-6 6-7 (3-7) to Christopher Eubanks.
British number five Liam Broady lost 4-6 6-2 7-5 7-5 to Canadian 26th seed Denis Shapovalov in the third round.
Defeats for the trio ended British interest in the men's draw and dampened the spirits of the home fans at the All England Club.
Their exits leave British women's number one Katie Boulter as the only remaining home player in the singles.
On Saturday, Boulter has the chance to reach the fourth round for the first time when she plays defending champion Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.
