No, no, no and no.

Oh you mean as opposed to our previous players who played perfect every minute of every match. Knock it off. Drogba went missing for huge periods and rolled around for the rest. Lampard has been going missing for matches at a time and shows up with a well timed late goal/penalty. I wouldnt exactly call that taking the game by the scruff of the neck.

Our players just need to make a noticeable impact and they will become leaders.

Don Mata, Ramires has been better in CM than Meireles was last season.

Yeah in a 433 rtm.
As a deeper midfielder, reckon Meireles is better

I agree we miss The Drogs, but we were always going to........

I still maintain if we'd been smart in the summer, that it was right for him to move on.

Not replaced him.....have we...not even close

we've loaned our best bet to West Brom

Lukaku wouldve failed with us this early. He needed his loan.

Drogba and Lampard took plenty of games by the scruff RTM. Dont belittle their performances for us over the years. Our new crop just go and join Torres in that big hole he's hides in during matches.

I was referring to last season. Nothing belittling about what I said. Everyone knew by last seasons performances that they were on their way out. Even before because everybody came to accept it by last season. What Ive said about Lampard included matches this season as well.

We could have used Drogba in some way shape or form RTM. Same with Lampard. Dont know why we're turfing him and Cole out. Not play them every game. Just keep them around the club so the younger players learn from them.

Will either of them be happy with a reduced role? Reduced pay? I dont think they would. Its probably not only the club thats forcing them out.

Also I have a feeling that if Drogba were still here (even though he said he decided to leave before the CL final) we would still be struggling to score and looking for who we could sign in January.

I dont think we'd be struggling to score with Drogba. Not at all

Thats the only issue we'd have with these guys. Their wages. I think Giggs and Scholes are on good wages at Utd but not astronomical like Rooney or RVP. I dont think we'd get Lampard Drogba or Cole to take a decrease.

To be fair. I dont think Giggs or Scholes have ever earned more than 100k? Might be wrong.

Drogba has slowed so much. Any break we would have wouldnt involve him. We'd basically have to go back to playing slow football....which we are basically doing anyway because we dont have a striker to pass too regardless.

Superb...........I am still in the office, I will be home in about 20 minutes to check if it is fixed.

Drogba has slowed so much
----------------
So has Torres, but Drogba has his strength to compensate, all Torres has is his hair and a lip pout
