What a small time set of fans. I don't remember many reds trying to get at the city players as they mauled us last season.

There wasn't that many there at the end to be honest.

Deduct points for throwing coins?

Nah, there's no way money should decide the title.

they should cut all the city fans willys off and make them think about what they've done. Its the only way they'll learn.

United have had more antisocial behaviour offences than any other club in England it's true.

Is that in total or per fan?

And even if it wasn't a question, i'm not condoning throwing a coin at a player. If Rio did in fact go and celebrate in front of the City fans then it was idiotic of him to do so

well at the moment my comments are restricted to what i heard on talksport, they said yaya was going to destroy you until the ref stopped play to book rooney and they were yelling i mean yelling that tevez should of had a penalty at 2-2

What? If you can't take a [player celebrating in front of you without becoming violent, you don't belong in a football stadium.

What a pathetic answer. For just one second, think about it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Throwing coins at players is deplorable but it is actually becoming a bit of an trend of United strikers celebrating in front of rival fans when they score. I am all for a bit of banter and you will find that most rival fans are the same way but there will always be a selective few fans who have drunk a bit too much before the game and will overreact in such a way. Surely the players should take a bit more responsibility don't you agree?

If the liesman had done his job properly today, the United stadium would have been BLue Plastic Chair heaven.

And no other players do this?

You know what the saddest thing is today, is that for once Manchester City have nobody to blame but themselves and the club.

They played against Manchester United, who did not win the game based on some referee decision gone wrong. In fact 4 different incidents went into Manchester Citys favour.

1. Yaya Toure not receiving at least 2 yellows.
2. Tevez not receiving at least 2 yellows.
3. Youngs goal being offside
4. Evra not getting a penalty

They even bought Dzeko on who didn't win them the game. Their fans showed nothing short of disgusting behaviour. The only positive was that Joe Hart stepped straight in against the fan who ran on the pitch.

Problem is your Manager, who's clearly inept at the moment. His decision to play Balotelli over Tevez today was a joke.

It was a bloody question

If the fans feel they are 'entitled' to verbally abuse (and apparently physically abuse) players for 90 minutes, that player is fully entitled to celebrate if their team scored.

What kind of person hurls an object at somebody from a distance knowing that person cannot respond? A coward, that's what.

Thats my point Jimbo. In a heated derby game where you've just gone and scored in the final minute, it's stupid on all levels to go and celebrate in front of the opposition fans (If Rio did do this)

posted on 9/12/12

Rooney should've got 3 yellow cards.

posted on 9/12/12

Yeah you go and celebrate, but not in front of the opposition fans. Can you not see the idiocy on Rio's part?

No, how can you go to a football game not expecting a player to celebrate a goal in front of you? Seriously, only idiots think that warrants throwing things at people.

Quite hard not to celebrate in front of opposition fans at an away game. He should have celebrated in the safety of the centre circle.

He shouldn't go so close to the fans should he. He can expect to be hit by objects, his own fault
