So true mate. Look at Cazorla's dive, already forgotten about. If that had been a Utd player, there would be rioting in the streets
I'm about to watch the recording, but it sounds like its not worth it
what annoys me is that had united benefited
from even half of these calls, the media (match
of the day in particular) would be demanding
the game be replayed
.....
We see it all the time mate, absolute outrage on 606, online and phone-in, newspapers, when we get a favourable decision.
Difference being, we get on the with the game and don't feel sorry for ourselves. Two good goals ruled out in our last two games.
Next time we get a decision, I can't wait to point out these last two games to all the outraged football fans.
Don't have to imagine Rooney kicking out like that. He has done it plenty of times and usually gets away with it.
City aren't very nice, are they?

The thing is, united get a decision and win, so everyone puts it down to the decision, but if one goes against them, they usually still win, so everyone forgets. It's ridiculous really, if anything, we get less decisions because of this false reputation.
I had a debate with a Liverpool fan yesterday and he said as we didn't drop points there was no need for us to complain as other teams have dropped points due to questionable decisions in our favour.
I then asked him if Utd had never been on the end of a bad result due to poor decisions, he refused to answer the question and then further went on to say I should be celebrating instead of moaning about a decision.
In summary, from the discussion it was clear that bad decisions that go against Utd are fine but bad decisions that favour Utd are a crime and should be prosecuted.
And they wonder why we call them ABUs
Exactly, we just get on with it, score a late goal and out come the 'fergie time' rubbish.
We can't bloody win
They didn't show David Silva ripping Rooney and afterwards the run from Yaya which even though i'm a United fan, skills like that need to be shown.
We can't bloody win

I wish this were true
We're all really wound up!!!
Wow United are 6 points clear at the top of the league and are still being consumed by paranoia. Lighten up.

6 minutes of mancini time, united were hanging on towards the end and we still got the winner
fergie time it is!
If anything the media is pro-United. I think most neutrals would agree.

The media that didn't highlight Cazorla's dive but still refers to Ashley Young's. Right
They aren't. If this was actually the case, then the phrase "Fergie time" would never have been coined. And the phrase "just one of those things" would be used a lot less than seems to be the case every time we are on the receiving end of a shocking decision.
Why do people think Fergie time is some sort of negative slander? People on here were hoping his statue was gonna be him tapping his watch. If anything it only further proves the media's love for United by actually giving a name to one of Fergie's traits.
I actually missed Tevez's kick. It hasn't been reported and MOTD didn't mention it; what actually happened?
So you don't understand why a phrase that implies that united benefit from unfair amounts of injury time in comparison to other teams is an insult? Funnily enough, the team who consistently play out more injury time and score more injury time goals than any other, year after year, is arsenal! Wenger time?
Tevez, clearly frustrated, kicked out at jones after he tackled him and should have had a second yellow minimum.
Fair play to the ref though, the atmosphere was already spilling over so he probably didnt want to inflame an already volatile situation. No way he didn't see it, that's for certain.
Though quite why Fergie and half the United team felt it their duty to get straight in the refs face is beyond me. Nothing worse than players and managers trying to influence a ref. I know it isn't just United that do it as Mancini has form, but I'm just saying.
Wouldn't happen in rugby.

Because Arsenal have a winning mentality and never say die attitude.
