Lampard played his part vs Corinthians. Torres let him down.
If Oscar was the catalyst for the victory, how come he couldn't do the same against Fulham, when Lampard was absent?
Food for thought.
Lampard was better than Oscar. I still don't see this Oscar in midfield thing. He loses possesion as much as Ramires.
Oscar was abysmal yesterday, so sloppy with possession. Lampard was a hell of a lot better. Oscar has been somewhat of a golden child this season, he gets praised for absolutely everything he does, despite for being terrible for the last month.
And to answer your question yes, its coincidence that we won when Oscar started.
He's good as an attacking midfielder. Would re-unite him with Mata and Hazard for Villa.
Hrmm I feel he probably suits playing a little deeper than Hazard and Mata. I would want to see how he performs in midfield in a 433. Playing him as the attacking midfielder pushes Mata to the right, which imo doesn't suit Mata particularly well.
Oscar was good in the 2nd half in midfield. Would carry on playing him there
Don Mata
In what world was Oscar good in the second half?!?!
Some people
His defensive work was good in the 2nd half. That was only his 1st or 2nd game starting in that position too
Just found this. Good read

Goal.com is never a good read.
Oscar does play well deeper, and does have grit and the stamina for the role. He has shown it against plenty of teams. However yesterday was not a flattering performance for the midfielder.
Only for transfer rumours
As I said, I thought he was good in the 2nd half
I thought Oscar played well especially in the 2nd half as for Lampard i thought he was very lucky to stay on the pitch as he had 1 booking and should have really had another booking as well as giving away a couple more free-kicks.
