Now instead of bringing in youngplayers and nurturing them you have to spend money. We have to do it or we'll be left behind.

yes because chelsea were the first team in the world to spend money on a player, chelsea were the first team to pay players a wage
your club of course had players playing for free obviously. only when big bad chelsea came on the scene, did you think "hang on a minute, we're missing a trick here "
what's stopping liverpool from bringing through youth to try and compete with utd etc.
may i remind you how many transfer records liverpool used to break back in 300bc to get success that way. thats allowed obviously
am i seeing double standards here yet again from liverpoo fans.
chelsea spend = ruining the game
liverpool spend = spending on youth for the good of the game
face it lads. not only are you delusional, you're also hypocritical when it comes to spending money.

Did they learn from it? No is the simple answer to that. Hundreds of millions spent on players and ridiculous wages.

Joe Cole and Milan Jovanovic earn £100,000 a week and £120,000 a week respectively
Double standards again

good debating mate.
shown up like the true clown you are
Good debating. I made a point that Chelsea hadn't seemed to do anything to try and control their spiralling wage bill. I also pointed out that they set a very silly precedent in paying a huge 'transfer fee' for a manager.
If you want to twist and contrive that in relation to league positions then that's your decision.
I am however glad to see that you do refer to your huge wage bill pretty much as responsible for your 2009/2010 Double.
Very refreshing to hear a Chelsea fan actually admit that Roman's millions bought the trophies
"shown up like the true clown you are"
your original point was chelsea spending millions on players wages has ruined the game for everyone
i came back with some facts to show liverpool spend their fair share on player wages
you then replied with "well what did you win last season"
Good one
I like you too Mr Chelsea

Sure Liverpool have managed to spend more this season than Chelsea, all thanks to Chelsea money.
£100k+ on wages for J Cole and Jovanovic
