Bebe is a truly horrendous footballer and will surprise absolutely nobody. He will slither away into obscurity because he is absolutely tragic and his signing was a stain on the game.

It's actually clowns like Bebe that are taking up positions in our reserves that could be taken up by young, homegrown talent.

HNIC - Agree about TC but he has come through the ranks and its nice to see him get a chance. He looks good, tidy, neat, good passer, mobile and may improve a lot. Look at Becks for a similar example. It ain't easy stepping out in front of 75K who expect United to demolish everything put in front of them and being in the engine room of the team, expected to dominate a midfield that is often outnumbered because we play 2 wingers. Give the lad time now he is in. I too would love us to find a Roy Keane or Essien at his peak or a Silva or Goetze etc but it isn't happening in the near future.

Cleverley is a good option for the squad and especially in a 3 man midfield.

It just irks me watching Carrick have to do all the work.

He deserves a quality CM next to him.

I agree that we should have better midfielders than Cleverley. It would be nice.

However, he's still a good footballer and a valuable member of both team and squad.

The article is absolute spot on. English players are overrated and less talented than foreign counterparts. All the best players in the PL are foreign.
That is the reason . want United to sign foreign players preferably German/Spaniards/South Americans.
But then I get called a xenophobe by Rob.

We agree on a compromise

Still think your being harsh on Bebe though.

Don't need to bookmark your very opinionated view. Only time will tell. He goes on loan to a Portuguese team and lets see what happens. He may well end up back there, perhaps that's why he is being loaned there who knows. Nobody knows why he was bought. Twas Ridiculous. Remember Carlton Palmer got an England cap!!

The manager hasnt handled the Bebe situation properly at all.

Hasnt played him in his favoured position and played him on the wing.

Its clear he has nurtured Welbeck and Cleverley well but I dont see the same love with Bebe and Macheda.

Who knows what Bebe has to offer, who can truely say they have seen enough to make judgement?

how can you give bebe a run in the first team with our list of strikers, we cant even play welbeck up front atm

Are you now trying to create new hype for a player by any chance Demba ??

Because Welbeck has more talent in his little toe than clowns like Bebe and Macheda. He's a better player and worth the effort.

It would have only taken about two training sessions to see how horrendous Bebe is. There's no way losers like Bebe will be getting game time if they're not up to it. He will be gone in the Summer and go on to do absolutely nothing elsewhere.

Of course, this is just my opinion. I'd bet all of my possessions on it though.

You cant, so how can anyone say Bebe isnt good enough?

Macheda's had games and he showed glimpses of talent but still isnt good enough.

Bebe has hardly had a chance.

No one is saying he will be world class but maybe he could have been decent.

SAF also needs to decide what to do with Welbeck. I think Welbeck would be better of sold. The manager clearly doesnt want to drop Rooney, and RVP is the first choice striker with Hernandez as back up.

You mean how they can see how one footed Valencia is and how superior Nani is and doesnt get ahead of him?

SAF messed up signing him, but should have atleast gave him a run.

Sir Alex will have a plan for him and rates him very highly. Absolutely no chance of Welbeck leaving.

I actually expect Hernandez to leave in the nearer future. He's approaching 25, scores goals and is at the stage of his career where he needs to be playing every week.

If Athletico sell Falcao then I wouldn't be surprised if they came in for him.

Id rather we kept Hernandez than Welbeck who is another case of a player being over rated.

If Welbeck doesnt improve on his finishing fast then he will no doubt find himself as the 4th choice striker at the club.

Welbeck sorry to say is now overrated too. Did better for England and quite well last season but plays with his back to goal too much and runs across the pitch into daft positions. Against WBA he kept running to where Young was instead of centre forward where he was supposed to be. Feel a little sorry for him though as he needs a run and won't get it barring injuries. He certainly can't play wide !

International level is a joke.

Europe is the real deal and what counts. Lampard and Gerrard were incredible all round footballers for their clubs and did the business consistently. Suggesting that they weren't of genuine top quality is absurd.

The arrival of tiki-taka has distorted how everything is viewed which is a shame.

It's why averages defenders such as Pique are lauded. Carragher, for example, was twice the defender he'll ever be.
----------------------------------------------------

Hear Hear!

The brand of football that Gerrard and Lampard play might not be to your taste but this were titans of the game in their peak.

Gerrard going on to dominate Madrid at the Bernabeu, Lampard dominating Deco and Xavi at the camp nou...those were world class performances.

Of course, Xavi and Iniesta are the nonpareil of this era but don't snigger at others.
Pique, Ramos, even Puyol are not a match on peak JT/Rio/ Carragher.

There is a reason Lampard was a Balon D'or nominee and along with JT was in the world and UEFA team of the year several times over.

International level is only a joke because england are crap!! If we actually won it you wouldn't then be saying it.
Brazil,argentnia,Holland,Spain,Germany,Italy..they are not jokes..dont be so ridiculous. They would all annihilate this united team!!

Gerrard and Lampard were good players but never world class neither is Rooney.
World class midfielders are Xavi, Iniesta, Pirlo, Scholes, Alonso, Makalele.
If anyone thinks English players can be compared to continental players then they are deluded.
