You should get.

"City Ruining

Ball"

If you are over the age of 12 then you shoudn't even be considering purchasing a football shirt in the first place.

Depends what its for. Like ^^^^^^^^^^ said, i think its ridiculous that you see grown men walking around with replica shirts and names on the back.

For me personally i normally buy the City home shirt every 2/3 years (no name on the back) for footy training and 5 a side.

Never wear it too the match though

Same here, I get a Chelsea shirt every 2 years or so, to wear to the gym and 5 a side, only once have I worn my Chelsea shirt to a game in years and even then I had it covered under a coat

This is acceptable. I tend to wear international teams shirts when i play 5-a-side. The Ukraine home shirt being my personal choice. Apart from that though shirts are for kids and the players only.

Well I'm 28 and get the new shirt every season (usually get the away one for my birthday) and normally get name and number on the back. I also wear it to every game.

I don't really see the problem with it.

I usually buy one at the end of the season every couple of years cos you can get them for about a fiver, I'm tight like that. Then just wear it for playing football/lounging about when hungover.

It's only wrong if you get......

.....Balotelli.....

That said the chances are you'd not be able to put the damn thing on properly anyway!

Did anyone ever see anyone wearing a 'Jo' shirt?

I've seen worse. Around ten years ago at a home game i saw a United fan with 'CHADWICK' on the back of his shirt. To this day i still pray that it was just the person's last name...

So what if i do or don't? I like to wear football shirts to football games, whats the issue?

I suppose you wear the complete black outfit like the rest of the United MIBs?

It is if it's a Portugal shirt.

And you want their back-up keepers name.

Liverpool are our rivals, city are just noisy neighbours (U6419)

I actually agree with you. Football kits are for kids (my son has one with his name on the back but he's 5) and for actual footballers.

I won a bet with my lady and she bought me the away shirt with de Jong on the back, I think it's my favourite piece of clothing, I don't see why it's wrong to wear your teams colours!

Especially when you're on holiday, always rep your colours!

I was going to say the exact same thing!
Only wear footy shirts for sporting reasons or daytime mooching on holiday!!!

Good to wear em on holiday because you don't have that awkward moment where you meet someone and immediately hit it off with them, before finding out they are a rag.

Going for a kick about in 15 actually, repping the red and black striped first advice away kit so I can't be accused of being a glory hunter (which I actually am, I just bought this off ebay last week to throw people off the scent).

I wear footy related t-shirts, usually from the official City web site. I still have to Carlos 'welcome to Manchester' one. It really winds up the plastic rags here in Cleethorpes, but the way things are going, it's ready to be relegated to night time wear only

I buy a new shirt every 3 years or so but never with a name on the back although I do opt for PL arm badges.
I generally wear it about the house but occasionally nip down to Asda or the garage wearing it, so what?
just got the new away top it's well smart and I will wear it with pride. Why do people feel the need to dictate what others should or should not do? If you do not want to wear one thats fine, shut up.
l also have Man City number plates on my car with the crest at one side and "Blue Moon" above the number in small blue letters so sue me. I live in Scotland so it's not like its going to be vandalised by a chav red
although there are plenty of plastic ones up here.
