Rangers got themselves into a financial mess.
Rangers fought HMRC all the way unlike other clubs becasue we simply couldnt afford to settle either.
The tax case went on far too long, but we took the decision to fight it, so wemust take responsibility for that.
I'll say it again, Rangers got themselves into financial mess, and the ultimate result of that was admin and newco.
Admin and Newco should not have meant being branded cheats by all and sundry for EBT use that had not yet been proven to be agasint tax law.
Admin and Newco did not automatically mean Rangers being voted out of the SPL, and eventually beig allowed to play football in this country again, after a whole shitstorm and mass panic created by authorities and SPL clubs worried about where the money they got from us was gonna go, and how much punishment us "cheating bastirts" should be dished out.
The media, the SPL authority, the SPL chairmen, and football fans in Scotland branding Rangers guilty before it was even proven contributed to a lot of the $hite we have endured this past summer.....we have blame, so do others, its not black and white as much as you want to make it that way

At first I couldn't get my head round it and thought you got everything you deserved, but talking to my da he explained it in a way that take aside Celtic and Rangers look at it from a neutral, and think if you were a Rangers fan would you be happy with they way things are run.
When I thought about it yes you were badly run and yes Whyte sold the club down the river, but I agree with my da that Rangers now are been kicked sideways from a few at the SPL and SFA, but I don't think that Green help s matters yes he needs to stand up fro the club but my opinion is he s doing it the wrong way hence why you might be picked on.
Mitre I have never been a bitter bass as my da wouldn't have it but the same time I remember the 90s when you equaled our 9-IN ROW that was shoved down our throats and don't forget we were in the SPL getting pumpped nearly evertime we played you as you had far better players which is the question are Rangers in this mess because of it
anyway these are my veiws on it

Admin and Newco did not automatically mean Rangers being voted out of the SPL,
It wasn't automatic tho,it was an unanimous vote that a liquidated club should have to start right at the bottom, after all thats what you all wanted, right???
The fact is Murray, after using the banks tofund your club, then started using a dodgy scheme to avoid paying tax,try and cover it up allyou like but your club has no one to blame but it'sself.
"Mitre I have never been a bitter bass as my da wouldn't have it but the same time I remember the 90s when you equaled our 9-IN ROW that was shoved down our throats and don't forget we were in the SPL getting pumpped nearly evertime we played you as you had far better players which is the question are Rangers in this mess because of it "

It wasnt really the 9 in a row time that caused it. Possibly looking at the advocaat time when £12m deals were being done for Flo!

No, we wanted to stay in the SPL and hold onto our league position with other penalties like how the English League dealt with things.
Once the other clubs let their fans decide (whilst assuming out guilt on the BTC as a major factor on the decision) we were released from the SPL. Once this happened, it was only fair to go to the bottom of the pyramid and work up.
It wasnt really the 9 in a row time that caused it.
Aye that was when Murray was using all the banks money to run the club, after that it was the ebt's scheme..then when the banks and HMRC put a stop tae awe that he was out the door and sold to whytie

Again, fair enough. Although the rule is that the clubs could have kept us in, but they opened it up to a lynch mob to preempt guilt based upon incomplete data.
No, we wanted to stay in the SPL
Yes i know, you all said you would be debt free and playing in the SPL,how did that workout??
I wonder if you did get 'voted in' to the SPL and were at the top of the league would you all be saying Scottish football was dead? Somehow i very much doubt it.

We have both being saying it for years! Rangers and Celtic are both too big for Scotland. The game here is rubbish and no amount of restructuring will help.

You liquidated and were denied entry into the SPL,Nanny Mcphee said yesterday, you have just got on with it,doesn't seem that way to me,as all you have done all season is whinge and greet and try to bring the whole of scottish football down, you are fooling no one.

We didnt liquidate, we were sold as a going concern to a NewCo .
Scottish football is rubbish! If it was as rosy as you would have us believe, then we wouldnt be desperately looking to restructure the whole thing. Thems the facts.
Your company liquidated/Rangers liquidated i couldn't give a feck.
Like you say'Although the rule is that the clubs could have kept us in'
That means they also had the power to vote you out within the rules which they did,so just get on with it,like Nanny mcphee said you were and stop the bitterness.
If Rangers were granted permission to play in the spl and were at the top of the league, not one of you would be crying about the game right now saying it was dead, not one of you.It would be all,WATP,debt free, top of the league etc etc..
Like i said you fool no one.
"That means they also had the power to vote you out within the rules which they did,so just get on with it,like Nanny mcphee said you were and stop the bitterness."

They did vote us out, but their rational for doing so was fueled by hatred rather than a desire to help scottish football.
I was not bitter before this happened, but you can be damn sure im bitter now.

Curly your club didn't have 3 years accounts, try and dress it up all you like but like mitre says,it was well within the SPL clubs rights to deny 'your clubs application' to join OUR league...
Why aren't you enjoying the romantic journey anymore??
i know the liquidation word hurts lads but dont take it out on us.
