I hope this dismisses the Howard Webb myth?

Yea, not forgetting the skittle tackle on welbeck, then late on in the game he took one of our players out from behind if I remember correctly.
Howard is a crap ref for us

As i've said before Webb should not be allowed to Ref our games.

The whole media circus has got to him and he now just blatantly sides with the other team.

I would prefer he didn't ref our games, when he gave those "couple" of bad decisions for us people went nuts but now he is in position where he can't give us anything in fear of getting abuse for it.

Johnson performed a WWE move on Valencia when he would have been clean through on the break.

No card, nothing

hey there is a nice carpet over there lets just sweep it all under because it went against Utd.

Thats the normal procedure.

The webb/united myth is ingrained in peoples psyche now, so no matter how badly he's ref's our games people will always trot that rubbish out.

I'm not sure how Agger avoided a card yesterday. Can't believe how many silly fouls he gave away.

It goes further than just Webb, Mark. It goes back to whole the whole "we pay refs" mentality. Webb seems to be an extreme example, but refs against us can do no right for fear of being labelled by one set or another.

I think no matter what happens, this will never go away.

Like you say it's a mentality for rivals and media to look for excuses and blaming it on Ref is very easy.

I can think of so many times this season we've been robbed, but struggle to find many that have gone our way, of course there are a few but no where near as many that go against Utd.

But as usual nothing is ever said because it doesn't benifit Utd.

wasn't agger booked for a late tackle on cleverly near the end of the match?

Wisdom's push was "blatant" yet "there is no way on earth" the officials could have see the off side goal, which according to the laws of the game, was offside.

Silly Mancs.

Might well have been TRFC, I must have been grabbing another beer, for the nerves

He had a lleg offside andadvantage goes to the attacking team. The push WAS blatant

A leg offside is offside . That is the rule.

Both incidents were difficult for the officials. To state that Wisdoms nudge was blatant is ridiculous.

Sorry but it was

I don't think he got anything majorly wrong.

GNeville thought Wisdom did just enough without deserving a pen and I agree with him.

Welbeck had absolutely no chance at getting to that ball so a clear goalscoring chance wasn't denied. And Agger was further back as well.

For once, Webb got all the big stuff right.

No need to apologise for your idiocy.

yea....for once i cant complain about webb.....

the wisdom/kagawa thing happened so quick , nobody saw it in the boozer i was watching it in..and that includes the united fans i was sitting with...and nobody ran to webb looking for a penalty

he was fair and impartial for once.......and you got away with an offside goal..so quit complaining...you won..we didnt.....

Unfortunately, in this game there was no point where Utd required assistance from Webb... so he didnt offer any. Simple as that!

If you needed Webbs' help you would have got it.

When was the last time United scored a goal that on replay shouldn't have stood and Liverpool supporters said the ref did a good job and we have no complaints

This is a bizzarro world scenario

posted on 14/1/13

Lol @ all the Liverpool fans saying he was fair just because he gave all the decisions the way of the sc*um.

"Lol @ all the Liverpool fans saying he was fair just because he gave all the decisions the way of the sc*um."

I know, that's what makes it so bizarre.

the sc*um win through an offside goal and we just say fair dos.

I hope the apocalypse isn't coming or something. It couldn't get any weirder

U guys are ok with the supposed 'offside' goal because u know Liverpool were extremely lucky to have 11 men on the pitch
