Sorry to hear about Zaheer but perhaps we shall see a devastating display from Srisanth instead.

I take it Sreesanth will come in?
He is a very good bowler when he's in the mood.

Ashley Giles rates him highly after his spell at Warwickshire, so he knows English conditions.

"He is a very good bowler when he's in the mood."

Bit like Sharma, and that's the potential problem for India.

England don't seem to have that.

Sreesanth won't even get in England's D team.

kash, how very true but neither would any of the Indian team.

I hope we play Munaf; Decent pace and very accurate.

Great news and we will rightly take our place as the best test match cricket team in the world. I am not interested in who turns up, never have been. Nobody likes cry babies or whiners and half the battle of playing top class sport is finding players who are fit and raring to go. Our England team has dozens who are just that.
We were not going to be denied anyway It's our destiny and has been coming for 2 years.

Sreesanth is worse than every single England seam bowler, including Finn and Bresnan.

That's not a wum, its just a cricketing fact

No shame in that, England have the best attack in the world.

Redknapp, you forgot Shazhad, Dernbach and Onions too. In this series the top 8 seamers are all english, and then I wouldn't even bother putting any of these indians on the list after them anyway. No wumming from me either mate. This series is going to be a serious learning curve for this fat, lazy, underprepared bunch of useless Indian bowlers. Our batsmen must be licking their lips, and I still can't believe they bowled with their wicket keeper at Lords. How embarrassing is that?

Even Shazhad?!

Seems a bit harsh!

A fit Zaheer would walk into our side. And underestimate India at your peril. Srisanth and Sharma are the type of bowlers who could randomly turn it on tomorrow morning, and there you go, it's 1-1.

hazsa as far as I know none of the India team would qualify for England.

Hopefor

Monty, Ravi, Patel might perhaps cause they have an Indian background, even though they are English

Lazy, I said none of the India team. As far as I'm aware Ravi, Monty and Patel are not in the India team.

If Sreesanth is picked he "may" take wickets but the England scoring rate will rocket..

Lazy- Don't worry about I misread posts all the time, especially those long missives from Rex.
