Lee Bowyer? Granted, he was and still is a dirtbag, but between 99-01 before hiss off field problems took over, he was an exceptional midfielder on par with Scholes and Gerrard at the time...

Easy to pick the best team / squad

Much more competition for the worst one in the same period

When did Man U take Kelly to cleaners ,

LIW
Correct, and was the heart of our League winning team

And I seem to remember he had quite a successful career after he wa sh it on by the club he loved

posted on 22/1/13

We should have stayed challenging for titles if he was as good as you say

replace him with viera or keane and we would have been more than one off winners

imo

We did replace him with a world class player
Carlton Palmer

Our transfer policy is still second to none

posted on 22/1/13

Earl we paid the same for Palmer and we signed him for centre half

Unbelievable
