Andy why dont you feign an injury
needs to hold serve her,mon Murray
Prank,just jesting mate
how the feck did he keep that in
gutted, still Murray has had a great tournament.Knocked out federer for the first time, and i think that game took a lot out of him for this match.Don't think anybody on the planet could've beat Djokovic today tbh.
Tim - hes a pro tennis player less of the tired gash!
god was on the serbs side
Murray had his chance in the 2nd set. I reckon the xtra days rest help Djokovic, but onwards and upwards. He may get the rub of the green at the French
Is the french not played on clay
Whilst it was a disappointing outcome Murray still has to take the positives from this tournament. He got further than he did last year boosting his ranking points, he beat Federer for the first time in a slam, he dispatched all his other opponents with consummate ease and for two sets had Djokovic seriously concerned.
I would like to see him work on his first serve, I think he could make it stronger and faster as he could do with winning more cheap points in matches like this which would give him an advantage. I would like to see him approach the net more and he should practice volleys. I would like to see him get his forehand back to where it was at the US Open.
His next focus has to be to get the number 2 ranking. He had an average few months after the Australian Open last year but hopefully the disappointment this time round won't be do tough to take having now won a slam.
If he has a solid season between now and clay starting then he can then focus on Wimbledon as anything he achieves on clay is a bonus.
