pleased with the appointment then?
By all accounts he's done a great job. Thought McInnes would have been a shout... Available for free as well
Meh. Satisfied I guess. Alot of people didn't want McInnes because when he was at us as a player he basically held the club to ransom over cash.
We went for the cheap option but hopefully the right option too. I'm optimistic that he'll take the club in the right direction.
Would McInnes not have been cheaper as there would be no settlement fee?
Who would you have taken? Realistically.
I'd imagine McInnes would want a decent wage though compared to McNamara.
If it's a straight choice between the two I'd have probably been leaning towards McInnes but to be honest there wasn't much between them. I'm looking forward to hearing what Jackie has to say tomorrow in the press conference as I don't really know what type of manager he is - nor how he likes his teams to play.
I want a manager who will send out a team to play good football and attack. Hopefully Jackie will send out United to play like that.
And maybe sort that defence out?
Didn't see a lot of it, anyone else linked other than McInnes Elvis and McNamara?
Can't help you with his styles mate, I don't watch lower le.... Eh first division
Jackie Mac has done a good job but only time will tell if this step up is too soon
