Henderson has improvred over the last few games
TBH I'm still unsure of Allen but you would have seen far more of him than I have
---------------------------------------
Henderson has been much better this season. There's a simple reason. He's been played in his position, in midfield, not stuck out on the wing.
You'd be even more unsure of Allen if you've watched him recently, he has been woeful. However for most of the season he was excellent, so much so that we had fans from different boards coming on and telling us he was a great signing. Young players lose form, it happens. He'll get it back.

Cheers gents some great debate and excellent comments , have to remove glasses , take drops and rest the eyes so I wont be commenting for a few hours
I dont think Allen has been excelent for any of this season, thought he was grossly overrated at the start and got bullied by much better passers like Areteta et al.

How you can say we have been spoilt as fans amazes me
yes maybe for you younger fans it feels like that but for me i have not been spoilt following tottenham since 1991
if being spoilt means 1 trophy in ten yrs and losing our last 6 facup semi finals then i would rather not be spoilt at all
Things must be bad on the striker front, we have just recalled Harry Kane from Norwich....
Weare,
I meant spoilt for the players we have signed - not for the success on the pitch.
I dont know any other club on the same financial footing as we are sign anything like the amount of players we have, quality wise or value wise.
Look at the list again & try to tell me any other club who has managed to sign anything like this lot:
"Lloris, Vertongen, Dembele, Dempsey, Ade, Sigi & Holtby - not to mention Zeki Fryers".
And your last paragraph does actually make you sound like a right spoilt brat.
That says it all then. We're admitting we needed someone by recalling Kane. If we knew we needed someone why did we not make enough effort during the transfer window?

Oh shhhhhhhhhiz!!
I really hope we dont become like Arsenal, happy to finish 4th and never win anything

To be honest, i would love to be like Arsenal, by first & foremost qualifying for the CL each every single year.
And thats the problem, some fans want to run before we can even walk.
We've only finished 4th twice (each side of a 5th placed finish) & you're already turning your nose up at finishing 4th again.
I already feel like we have become like Arsenal.

It's BECAUSE we have Kane, i have more faith in Obika then Kane, can't we fuse them togather?
Obikane
Obikane - a mixture of the best of both strikers, but still ultimately crap.
Spurtle2
Exactly. What do you get if you mix horse crap with dog crap?
No...its not a Tesco beefburger. Its just a pile of crap, whatever way you look at it.
Amen Chicken
Though there is no difference between a Tesco beefburger and a pile of crap either.

do one you muppet
You loved twisting things so it sounds like you have at least one brain cell that people want to listen to when i fact your brain is firmly lodged up your ar-se
Chicken your only happy we didnt get a striker so you have more chance to see AVB fail
I'd say Chicken rates AVB but is too stubborn to go back on it after the abuse he gave Chelsea fans for having him.
I think Weare's having a breakdown.
Rodgers' Revolution
You're getting me mixed up with other posters. I never WUMmed any Chelsea fans about AVB.
In fact, Weare was the one who told them how useless he was, wrote articles saying how great Harry was, then changed his tune as soon as AVB was appointed at Spurs.
If Spurs finish 4th or above i will eat my words, write an article claiming my judgement was poor & ask the Admins to mutliboard it.
If we dont, then i am due a hell of a lot of apologies.
I think you have to be a moron not to rate AVB ..............
