I deliberately made it a long article so the wums who don’t have interest in our team but to wum don’t read the full article just like the first reply from bubbles who I’m sure didn’t read it and as usual had the same comment.

It's my opinion. I thought we were accepting opinions of others

Bubbles.. Chelsea beat the same Malaysian team 1-0 with a goal where the ball didn’t cross the line. The same team we beat 6-3 and Arsenal 4-0.

How did you get on against Hull and Galatasaray?

Lets get some perspective here, yes it bad to lose and those sides are hardly top quality; but, are Coady, Kelly, Robinson, Aqua, Sotos, Cole, Degen, Poulson, insua going to play together again?? Or most of em in the same team again?? NO..is the right answer.

Vs Hull it was similar again with Ayala, Ngog, Poulson, Coady all playing. Its clear KD is trying his hardest to get rid of a few while trying out the youngsters. I reckon the next game will see a few more est stars and closer to the team vs Sunderland, we shall see.

On the comparison to pre-season results of the last 2 seasons, i can see what you are saying but the club is a world away from then, the results are similar but i am not to worried, 70% of our team is missing or hasnt played yet!!

Yep, relegation on the cards. Sell everybody.

Well at least we entertained the crowd with goals unlike Chelsea who love to bore the crowd.

I think they well when playing in the league cup or when we get a major injury crisis like last season. As I said in my article our first team is very good but the squad is not good enough.

The OP should calm down lol. It's just pre season.

The only first teamer that played in the first half was Carroll. Second half was just Kuyt and probably Aquilani. It wasn't even our 4th XI, it was more of deadwood/outgoing XI with the likes of Degen and Poulsen.

I really do think This year is Liverpools year!.. I mean King Kenny has brought 4 world class British players.. So how can't thaty win it at this rate!?!?

There's a reason Kenny bought Downing, Henderso and Adam. Not to be regular first teamer, they were signed to make the squad stronger.

The likes of Cole, Degen, Poulson, insua wont be here come end of August. ROBINSON is a left back but was played LM (maybe to help insua with defensive duties on the left side)...
Same goes for Kelly and Coady.

Soto should be gone end of August as well...hopefully.

Very low, a bit like where Liverpool finish in competitions

yes you managed to score 13 goals in 5 averaging 2.6 per game. We had 2.25 and conceed goals but we did that with our 2nd and 3rd team unlike Chelsea who had 1st team with Torres who still couldn't score

You won't need the wums, your own fans will write you off themselves. You make a lot of good points but you'll find most scousers will put the blinkers on.

Just as an example, I've seen one LFC poster who was saying the other day that pre-seasons were about getting player fitness, focusing on tactics, getting the team to understand the manager's plans for the new seasons.

Now this same poster is saying it wasn't any of your first team playing so who cares? Surely if the aim of preseason is all the things mentioned above, why would you not be playing the players that it would apply to? Go figure.

Anyway I'm sure that for pointing this glaring inconsistency out my post will be written off as a wum. Easy way out when you don't want to accept reality.

Every season the top teams like MU, Arsenal and Chelsea play the preseason with their first team with few changes here and there unlike Liverpool who send their 2nd and 3rd and keep the likes of Gerrard and their foreign and star players away to have extended holidays. Torres and the Spanish players were always coming late from their holidays.
