2 overs today and once again in this series it's been Englands day.I am very disappointed with the form of Cook but we will see this victory home from here on in. The Indian fans on here must be totally gutted with the way the day has gone. They have blown it now.
came back and looked at the score england 17-1
ahhahaah
look at this 267-5.............288-10
That is it for today. What a shame we lost Cook, If he was still in then even the loyal Indian fans on here would have been godsmacked and beaten this evening. His wicket gives them false hope mind, and that makes me laugh. See you tomorrow and lets Enjoy KP who is going to marmalise these bowlers. 4:0 It's our time. Take care folks
He's alright really, is Sox.
When he uses the term pom he is trying to incite a reaction, similar in a way when your younger brother wants to join in with you and your friends (as you, as his older brother, are his hero) so will ingratiate himself by playing the fool, playing up or copying mannerisms/sayings that he knows connect you and your friends.
Now, for the point of this analogy, i wouldn't say most australians are friends but this will do.
As my friend they're allowed, and it's part of the culture/relationship, for them to refer to us as "pom:
IT JUST IS.
FACT.
SET IN STONE.
My little brother, IndiaSox, wants to join in this banter/relationship as i am his hero so quickly latches onto a term (of which he has little understanding) he thinks will bring him into this friendship circle.
Unfortunately, without fully understanding the hugely complex relationship i have with my friend, he just comes across as a bit simple; shall we say thick?
We do humour him as he is our little brother and we are his hero.
Occasionally we may try to scold him on his faults, but, as someone he reveres, he wants us to recognise his existence so carries on (not fully understanding his social faux pas) just to incite a reaction.
In reality it's quite sweet.
We pat him on his head and tell him he's our little brother.
Since Strauss returned to ODI his test performances have become unreliable. Cook takes his place in ODI and can now hardly score a run.
Bell is often out to ODI shots as in the first innings.
Am I the only one who's making this connection.
where are ya indyans?
where are yaaaaaaa?
ahahahhahahahaha
Now I remember why I stopped posting in the cricket threads on 606.
What a bunch of bloody pathetic children.
Majik A wonderful post to end a wonderful day mate
I see where you are heading hope, but to be honest , those 3 players are more than capable of playing any form of cricket, and sometimes we have to give credit to the bowlers, especially given the wickets which they have been able to bowl on. Thats why I laugh when I think that 2 times out of 3 we have declared whilst going very well, and yet India cant score 300.Men against kiddies and the kiddies blew that chance today.

You stopped or you are about to stop?
Besides that pathetic input, anything else to add about the days play?
One thing is for sure that this match is heading for a classic!
That's true Red, either way one of us will be smiling, there will be a result and this is test match cricket at its exciting best
A day and a half of blazing sun while we bat, then a heavy shower followed by the odd sprinkle to ballance out India winning the toss.
Now even James Bond cant save you from a thrasing now.
oh my lord
what a thrashing indiansuxxxx
