As I see it there's no point in any recriminations. We need to accept the new state of affairs, look forward and get on with it. I think the partnership of Miller, Ward and Digby could work well.
There are plenty of positives. First and foremost we're top of the League at the moment and Tuesday's win will have certainly sent a message to our rivals.
Second, PdC and crew were always going to move on at some point. He's ambitious and to say he believes in his own ability is the understatement of the year.
Third, we have a good platform to build on, a good group of professionals with the right attitude. The absence of the perpetual 'uncertainty' under PdC might be welcomed by the players.
If we ultimately get the right manager in we can still achieve our ambitions.
Yes, start again. You do leave yourself vulnerable when you have a travelling circus running affairs. It isn't just about the DiC leaving, but all his hangers on. They preferred to hang on to him rather than honour their contracts & work for us. If another club employs him, they must expect the same disloyalty if things go pear shaped.
