This game was a nightmare. I night to forget. Everything went against us.

They scored from their first real shot due to a deflection.

No excuse for us to fall back in the old known Arsenal that can't defend for shiiiit and not scoring when needed.

We have absolute problems against teams that have a physical approach especially in midfield. We havent got a clue to win challenges when facing those teams. That is why Chelsea and United know how to handle us.

The third goal killed any hope that left when there was little hope at all. Monaco will play just like that and we will have no answer.

Anyway didnt fancy us to win this competition and fall out of the CL again at one point. Didnt expect this kind of performance against Monaco. Move on.

To win against the best you need strikers who can take half chances, not miss clear ones. And Mertesacker is finished. I don't want to see him again if Paulista is fit. As that is the partnership of the future might as well start playing it now.

He hadnt got the clear chance in the first half but yes he needed to score from at least two clear cut chances. In these kind of games you need to be clinical when the chance falls to your feet. He failed and that was shocking.

You are absolute spot on with your assessment of the other players as well.

Think against Everton we should try Gabriel for Mertesacker who got exposed with pace.

Gabriel and Kos should be our partnership going forward. Bin Mertesacker.

Would rather play Monreal than Gibbs as well.

Agree mate.

I think when you play poorly you look to either your striker or keeper to dig you out. United look to their keeper in De Gea, City look to Aguero.

Sadly we have dross at both ends

Kos didnt fill me with any trust either to be honest.

Dont let me start over Gibbs again. He can do it against Boro. He cant do it on a different level.

Bellerin getting to his limits again. He is unexperienced and has an excuse.

Aguero didnt make any different either

To be honest, we can blame different players in Mert, Giroud and Ospina, but you cannot tell me they were better in any position than we were. Only Kondogbia and maybe Moutinho are getting near our first XI.
