Dave given up, can't blame him
Would you guys be bothered if we finish outside the top 4?

If we can't win the league I'd like us to finish 4th. Gives us the best chance of hounding Wenger out of the club in the summer and getting a decent replacement

Does. It. Fack
4th = MISSION ACCOMPLISHED plus the excuse of qualifiers preventing us from signing players
It's an absolute dream scenario for Wenger.
What surprises me is that NO one in the media have made the point that we have not been real challengers in the league since David Dein was fired.
The media constantly beat around the bush with the 'same old Arsenal' stuff when we bottle the title without ever pinpointing Wenger as the constant in all the failures.
My point is that one major part of a manager's role is to buy properly, players who he believes can win the league and then to change them if they do not. But we are always two players short. This suggests someone who is not that good a manager because he has not built a squad capable of winning the league. So why does Wenger get so many plaudits for his early successes? Its obvious NOW that Wenger abdicated some major responsibilities including buying players to Dein. He was the one who bought players that were capable of sustaining a challenge. Nothing to do with money to spend, cause Wenger has had money since 2012.

An average of 13 points behind the league winners over the past decade. Went down to 19 points once.

Who has been available in those 4 years though?
I cannot tell you dot, because I do not have access to our scouting networks.
But if you look at the teams ahead of us, all those players could be had easily.
The biggest stand out miss has to be Suarez.

Basically brought out the whole 'Could you do better?' and 'The fans and media don't get to decide whether or not i keep my job' shiiiite
He's losing it
The end does feel close, but been in this position before.
Lose next few league games, sit in 5th, go on a great last 6 game run to secure top 4 and AKBs use that as proof of how good we can be if we just give Wenger one more summer

Ozil leaves, we sign Harry Arter.
Alexis leaves, we sign James Morrison.
Didn't actually realise our WBA game gets rescheduled if we go through tonight. Facking mental for the fans who were going to that game
Harry Arter a good player tbf
Arsenal's 5 key business issues this summer:
1. Sell Ox
2. Sell Walcott
3. Sell Gibbs
4. See who's available
5. Re-sign Flamini
Lex determined to get that all-white team in play
The all white players have been the downfall. Black and brown players are needed again
