Assuming we can sell of these players, even at those figures, who are our targets? Who can we realistically buy, knowing our budget which take us to the "next level"?

Don’t think you’d need to sign too many ‘top top quality’ players to replace those listed, yet still improve significantly.

Then you need a very good scouting team... oh wait!

My worry Lex is that we all believe funds will be make available in the summer but I'm not that convince. Especially if we miss out on CL spot.

Does anyone know when Adidas are scheduled to make their first payment?

Well, baring in mind I expect ESR and Reiss Nelson to be in the first team squad for next season:

Kevin Malcuit - Napoli back-up rb that would push bellerin

Jose Gaya - Valencia’s first choice left back, who we were linked with a few years ago

Pablo Fornals - Villarreal central midfielder

Kostas Manolas - Roma Centre-Back

Christopher Nkunku - PSG versatile midfielder/fullback

I’d go back in for Carrasco as well who I really rate.

.... I can dream

All jokes aside, if we did have a transfer window like this (which we won’t but we can hope), and Emery was still being too pragmatic/not getting results, then I’d be part of the Emery out bandwagon.

======

Why though?

Definite departures in the Summer will be Cech, Ramsey, Lichtsteiner and Welbeck at the very least. So that’s around £500,000 per week on wages we’d get back.

Monreal may be included in that list but the club haven’t said anything about activating 1 year extension

Then the likes of Elneny and Jenkinson I expect to depart too albeit for modest fees.

From the sponsorship deals and kit deals, we should be getting around £80m-£90m a season.

We also have some promising youth players who I believe will be pushing to get into the starting 11.

We will be in a much better position in the Summer.

The only thing is the club can’t pissss the money up the wall like they did in 2016.

That’s the only question mark.

He isn't consistent enough, was willing to give him time under Emery to see if he'd improve but he hasn't much really. Squad player at best.

Probably hand him a new 100k+ a week contract and be stuck with him knowing us.

Yes, 3-1 with the 3rd being a handball.

Although 2nd half was a bit $hit.

Target in the next summer surely should be:

Nicolas Pepe from Lille (half of Europe will be after him)
Malcom (FC Barcelona)

and pls buy at least 4 defenders.

The goal we directly conceded before HT was the killer. The third goal shouldnt have stand but game was over at that point. As a result we hadnt any effort on target in the second half.

Goal on target? That is very generous. We haven't created a single chance from the 37 minutes onwards, nevermind having a shot on target.
Two strikers don't work if there is no link-up player.

Our problem has been a lack of pace for the last couple of years in the entire team. This is why Gwen looked so good. He could have been playing for Man City.

And in a 4-4-2 your wide players need pace. That way the wider players move to central positions in midfield and the full backs over lap.

In past we had Lauren, Eboue and Sagna at RB. Ashley Cole, Gio, Sylvinhio, Clichy, even Gibbs at LB.

Then for some odd reason Wenger bought Monreal, Kolsaniac, Debuchy. Thank god he found Bellerin. But now Lichsteiner.

Basically our full backs and Iwobi/Kols lost puff. The second goal was a killer. That meant there was no put ball.
