Ospina will be sold. Cech retires. So there is a need of a goalkeeper at Arsenal.

Keep forgetting Ospina is still in our book.

A strong loan spell could put him in the frame to be 2nd choice.
I don't think he would let us down, no worse than the likes of Romero, Willy, Gazzanigga, Mignolet. Just lacks games.

Well, that is good to hear because something is telling me that our activities will be very limited in the next couples windows so if we don't have to replace either Cech or Ospina, then that is a good start.

Yep. Apparently something to do with Europa rule which stipulate AFC have to have at least 7 homegrown players so the like of Bellerin, Welbeck and Holding are included despite them having no chances whatsoever to play a part.

Still think the club should have included Mavropanos and leave one other senior out. Litch, Elneny or even Ozil since Emery doesn't rate him.
But an injury to Mustafi or Kos would mean we could end up with Xhaka as CB again.

Isn't Mavropanos young enough to play without being in the squad?

Also, very confusing but not sure what the club was thinking including those injured players.
If they needed to fill up the homegrown quota, why not just include youngster instead. Even if they won't play, it would have been at least motivating for them to be in the squad. Really hard understand our thinking these days.

Yes, it is a new list but still have to have 8 homegrown and 17 foreigners.
Leno, Cech, Mustafi, Licht, Kos, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Monreal, Elneny, Xhaka, Torreira, Guendo, Ozil, Auba, Laca, Suarez,
Not too sure who is our 17 non-homegrown?

They were not far off last summer with the £50M
