I think Auba will end up staying and signing on. No one is offering the sort of wages we are and if he is promised playing in the middle it sort of makes sense for him as well.
Auba is 30 and Nketiah/Martinelli are the next generation. 3/4 year deal would be ideally suited.

Driving home from work last night, suddenly dawned on me that halfway through the TW and it hadn't really occurred to me to check out the rumour mill, let alone anyone that we've been linked to.
Guimaraes and Ndidi to replace Xhaka and Torreira in the summer?
In other words, I'm really not expecting any signing(s) this month.

Ndidi has some sort of get out clause. Doucoure would cost too much and Watford ain't getting relegated anyway.

Dunno. Maybe if a specific group of clubs come calling rather than CL per say.
I think Arsenal should get Goumares now. Don't trust Xhaka not going back to his hold habits. Arteta noticed how he lost his man and turned his body on that Palace free kick.
