Aye. one of my best m8s is a barrister. he is finding it difficult to buy a semi-detached house on £130k a year salary. not easy coming up with a min £750k. can only borrow 5X salary.

Yeah, he was maybe 19 at the time, and likened joining Arsenal to joining an academy, or something?
It wasn't a total diss, more that he'd done that at Ajax, and his next move should be a step up from there.
Some years later, having failed to move elsewhere, he joined joined Spurs.
Go figure.

Most ppl have a memory of a goldfish. No one cares what a player said 3 months ago let alone 6 years ago. Imagine the banter if Eriksen did it to spite Spurs. Poch almost did.
All three have been great players for spurs and taken them up a level but I imagine they all would have liked to win the odd domestic trophy during that time

tbf I am charging 1500pm for a 2 bed flat in finchley. so its not that bad on rent side unless you want to live very near to the city.
Think all three are past their best now anyway.
