And are BT and Sky going to be happy to give over a large percentage of the remaining fixtures for the BBC and, or ITV to show for free?

Because no sponsors will be happy with any games being watched by such a small percent of what they’d normally expect to peddle their wares too.

How many black lads did we have back then? Theo doesn't count.

Sagna, Eboue (), Djourou, Clichy, Song?

Of course they won't give it for free. But the sponsors getting global monopoly live tv is going to be worth hundreds of millions that they can easily distribute between bbc, itv and still satisfy sky and bt.

tbh it will be simple for players. If the medical side give it the green light in Late May/June then those still refusing can have their wages cut accordingly. I bet there won't be many refusing at that point.

Reckon there was beef between the black lads and the whites?

can't be. Wenger was a top manager with those issues. Think the only racial antagonism we've had since the 80s was a certain mr arshavin. And i think it was his family more than him.

Didn't frimpong say Wenger got rid of him because he said to him "I'd be getting more chances if I was white" or something?

Didn't Frimpong had two acls or something? In both knees? Not sure he'd ever use that excuse.

And what about the EPL teams that are changing kit manufacturers after this season ends?

What Frimpong thinks and says, and reality have rarely crossed paths.

His propensity to shoot from the hip via Twitter had already landed an FA fine when, in October 2013, he was angry after being left out of a League Cup tie against Chelsea. “Sometimes I wish I was white and English,” he typed through the red mist; it was quickly deleted but the damage had been done.

“When I was young it was my dream to play with Michael Essien, or just on the same pitch as him, and I was so disappointed not even to be in the squad,” he says. “Going back, it’s a tweet I wouldn’t have sent because, if you look at Arsène Wenger’s history, you can honestly say he has helped a lot of black players, perhaps more than any other manager. It was just a tweet out of anger and was not right; it was something I regret doing.

“You hold up your hand, admit what you did was wrong and move on.”

I can only talk for what we are doing in terms of legal context and contracts are just being honoured with this term incl. So I think that would be the same for most. force majeure.

uventus players agree pay freeze
Juventus' players and manager Maurizio Sarri have agreed to their pay being stopped for four months to save the club an estimated 90m euros (£80.7m) during the coronavirus pandemic.

All sport in Italy has been suspended until at least 3 April.

The Juve squad, which includes Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey, will not be paid their full salaries in March, April, May and June.

They top Serie A by a point from Lazio.

Ronnie makes most of his mega bucks from sponsorships. That depends on the goodwill of ppl going forward. Don't think he even 'earns' the wages he collects so its no brainer. The rest though.
