It is though. Do you remember when we used to complain that we didn't get a player because Wenger was trying to save £2m on the fee. It costs what it costs when you want the player. And despite so many here complaining about Luiz's signing. He has been the most consistent defender this season and we improved a lot defensively. I can't imagine where we would have been without him. But if we want to save £10m on his salary for next season and can find someone to buy him then it makes complete sense to move him on.
Interesting that PSG don't want Auba any more now that they have signed Icardi.
Does it make it more likely Auba signs an extension?

United couldn't even afford to keep Ighalo. Their wage bill is worse than ours and without match day income it hurts more. Thats why they are desperate to sell Pogba even if it means they have to take on Rabiot's wages to compensate. Its still works out reducing wages.
