What do we make about these rumours of Gwen winding up the Brighton players talking about how much he earns?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

My problem with it is more that he has very little substance to back it up. We're literally midtable, having the worst season many of us have witnessed in our lifetimes, we're not even playing well and he thinks winding players up, talking about how much he earns and how rubbish the Brighton squad is, is justifiable behaviour?

If we were comfortably a top 4 team, we looked competitive and the team was full of confidence, then yeah ok, you have reason to behave like that. But no Arsenal player should be gloating to anyone with the situation we're in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's Robbie Savage level behaviour tbh.

That's what we've become. A club that has that type of player as a regular starter.

I'd take £20m for him this summer.

The semi against Sampdoria was amazing. 3-2, 2-3 then won penalties 3-2Schwarz was a last minute free kick to take it to extra time.

I remember Keown being used as a spoiler in midfield at times, but I do recall a back 5 being used and a narrow midfield 3 of JJ, Schwarz and one of Parlour, Hillier, Morrow, Selley.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah Keown was often used as a man marker in midfield, especially when he first returned to the club.

CEG, it's going to be nigh on impossible to find an equivalent or an upgrade on Aubameyang with where we are right now.

Especially if we sell him with 1 year left on his deal, it's not like we'll get huge money.

Ings may be our best option.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We've been linked with that guy from Gent. Hopefully as a Laca replacement.

I know nowt about him.

Arsenal are interested in Tyrone Mings according to
@David_Ornstein
(via The Ornstein and Chapman podcast). #AFC

The Gunners want to sign a CB, CM, wide player and maybe goalkeeper depending on the Leno injury outcome. Willian is an option as the wide player [Ornstein] #AFC

The ONE position we didn't really need to think about this summer was GK.

Now this...

Guendouzi has the talent, but I worry about his brains. Makes dopey passes going forward and his positioning is still pretty bad.

Ings is having a good season, his best season but on the back of that we're going to be paying huge money for a player who couldn't make it at a Liverpool team that finished mid table

Ings is better than Laca tbh, wouldn't mind him as a squad player

We're gonna sign Smalling, Ings and Willian this summer, aren't we?

I will never post on here again if we do.

So you know, something for us all to look forward to then...
