When will we actually get a decent ref and consistent VAR? I'm sick and tired of all the bullsh11t decisions going against us time and time again.
Yes I know this season we have been poor for majority of it but we've had shocking decisions go against us which has certainly costed us at least 10 points this season.

Was a moronic challenge from Eddie tbh

It was. Not complaing much about the red. But why the ref looked at that incident and not at the Mustafi incident is absolute ridiculous.

Could easily given more yellow card against Leicester player in the first half. Not sure if Evans would have survived the game without a red card due to two yellow cards.

To be honest, I really don't think we can complain too much about any of the decisions.

If the Nketiah challenge had been done on one of our players, we'd be seething with rage that a red wasn't brandished.

The Vardy one is too hard to prove intent - he's falling over, he's not facing Mustafi and he's turned and whacked Mustafi in the face - the only way you could prove intent is by asking Vardy if he meant to do it. He's not going to admit that.

The Leicester goal being offside is tricky considering the numerous angles being shown - based on the one the VAR officials looked at, Vardy is onside and Perez didn't touch the ball.

It's marginal, so I'm not going to moan too much.

The bigger issue for me is the lack of control we had for the second half even before the sending off. We need to be more clinical and take control of games better.

If Lacazette takes the ample chances he had in that first half, we win and I guarantee we don't dissect these incidents in the level of scrutiny people on here have done.

Due to the current frequency of matches, it's unlikely any team playing another evenly matched opponent will have sustained periods of control during a game - fatigue being the main culprit.

So yeah, it's important that when you're on top you make it count. We didn't do that last night. Or rather, Lacazette didn't do that last night. Which given he was coming off the back of his first goal away from home since WWII is pretty disappointing.

Has anyone any idea of his hottest scoring streak / most clinical period?

I'm imagining it's Giroud-level at best...

How dare you to compare Laca to Giroud........quietly whispered GT.

Tbh we're all getting there

Laca was 5x as expensive too

True but Giroud has also had his drying spell. Remember when Ozil had something like 19 assists by February and was on course of breaking the PL record and Giroud decided he wasn't having any of it?
The reason is not as frustrating now is because we have Auba so Laca is not our only sources of goals.

In hindsight, Giroud and Aubameyang would have been a better balance of strikers to have in the squad than Aubameyang and Lacazette.

By the way, just read that we've appealed the Nketiah red card decision - the ban could be extended if it's deemed a frivolous appeal...

Bet Spurs will get there usual pen against us this Sunday. They've had a pen against us in last 3 league games and had 5 pens against us in the last 7 league games against us! 3 of them were dubious!
