We are the 3rd highest spenders in the last 5 years. More than Liverpool and look how far we are behind them.
In the last 10 years we have spent the same as Chelsea and far more than Liverpool. And we have won very little compared to them. I think at best we could be described as a cup team over the last 10 years.
Shocking.
5 year net spend.
1. City - £602m
2. Utd - £485m
3. Arsenal - £270m
4. Everton - £225m
10 year net Spend
1. City - £1067m
2. Utd - £887m
3. Chelsea - £427m
4. Arsenal - £421m
If I was to do a wage comparison it would be worse!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I dont trust any of these media numbers.
There can be a certain intend to publish these kind of comparisons to let certain clubs look like mugs and others as clever.
No saying that we havent made mistakes and overpaid in some transfers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since this site has built their entire reputation on the 'transfer market' I think they will be as accurate as you can get. This is not a blog. But you can take most sites as a comparison and the figures are very similar.
Not sure why you think they care how the fans of any particular club feel. Its not going to bring them any more revenue. In fact its more likely they will lose eyeballs if their figures are shown to be very inaccurate.
However facts and figures do sometimes challenge those peddling half truths to make money on twitter though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I prefer not to trust those statistics. It's up to you if you do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
These are not statistics. This is actual spends that are declared in profit and loss statements. But go to any site and the figures are similar.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same goes for wage lists of financial stats. Yeah they are copied.

No. Individual wages are private. Legally so. Total wages have to be public and are reported on the P&L statements. Individual transfer fees have a small degree of variance because of addons. Again as a whole they are mostly accurate as are agent fees (again as a whole).

Can Spurs (levy) survive missing on CL spot while being impacted by Covid?
Yes probably so long as they get the sale of Kane right
Not sure utd want Kane anymore. So where else is going to go? Spurs owe £127m to the government so that debt needs to be paid off quickly.

Utd isn't the only destination for Kane✔️
It's 175m to the Bank if England ✔️
They've refinanced other loans also to offset repurcussions ✔️
They can survive but they won't be spending much money in the market ✔️

----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. Individual wages are private. Legally so. Total wages have to be public and are reported on the P&L statements. Individual transfer fees have a small degree of variance because of addons. Again as a whole they are mostly accurate as are agent fees (again as a whole).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe them only if they are coming from Wikileaks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How about RT. They have the same source.

Thoughts on the reply feature?

Pep Guardiola: "I know for the elite clubs like United, Liverpool and Arsenal it is uncomfortable for them [us being here]. We don’t have to ask for permission to be there. We deserve to be there.
Guys - accept it."
