J99 an AOB
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No way. I fully hope he is the man and I think he will get us into the Europa. But if doesn't, I feel it makes his job very difficult for next season.
Klopp and Pep both took time to sort their respective sides out.
And they had a better starting point than what Arteta has taken over.
Plus money to spend.
Lots of money to spend.

Never took you for a LOLR, J99.
You always come across so serious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye I'm full of LOLRs just not into LOLz.
Boom boom
It's not a LOLR though, it's just Levy being Levy and going for the best deal financially, which it is
I think they're a bit facked but no more than we were after our stadium was built and the money we thought we'd claw back through property sales was scuppered due to a financial crisis
Much as I'd like to see them get a points reduction or a mandatory relegation I don't think it will get to that

Banks won't touch em. Makes Levy's life so much more difficult. How is he going to fund next season's shortfall. No vaccine till Jan?

Think about it. If that was the case why wouldn't every corporation take out this facility and save on the interest rates? It destroys you credit rating and you have to prove you could not raise finances in the market.
(whilst still being credit worthy) How about that for a kicker!
They have a number of options should this drag on
Capital assets they can sell off or lease, players they can get huge value for, an owner with deep pockets and they're a club in London that a number of despots might be interested in owning

Yeah. But all involve selling the club as a distressed asset. So would Lewis be happy to do that rather than waiting till the NFL starts up normally (they are predicting 3 years before games outside the US) etc. The alternative is selling players! And where would they end up then? Spurs situation reminds me of Leeds. It took them a couple of years before they got relegated.
I suppose Lewis could find £175m elsewhere but why didn't he do that in the first place? Makes you think.
Thought Leeds got relegated by the drubbing from the invincibles?
That was just my favourite game and I remembered Leeds of that era under O'Leary rather than the one selling off Viduka, Smith, Kewell etc.
Aye. Sunak is reincarnation of Henry Norris.

We would rue it soon if we going to sell him. It will be a second Gnabry disaster. I want him in the first team.
Seriously gutted. Could've been our RB for the next 6/7 years.

I understand that he doubts he can make it at Arsenal He has not given fair chances under Arteta. I want him to stay. We want a fair challenge for places. He is good enough to be in the first team ffs.
For context if people don’t know what Tu and GT are talking about:
Ainsley Maitland Niles plans to leave Arsenal this summer. Player feels there is a lack of trust in him from Arteta and he would welcome the chance to explore a fresh opportunity away from his boyhood club. [@David_Ornstein]

Osei-Tutu likely to leave to. Why did we sign Cedric again? 🤔🤔
AMN needs to move to a Southampton, West Ham level club. Maybe a promoted team even. We have to accept that we will have to sell a few academy guys, and it will be a shame. We should sell him for as much as possible, even if that means doing so without any clauses in the sale. We could easily get £15m for him.
Osei-Tutu's path is currently blocked by Pepe, Nelson and perhaps even Saka, rather than Cedric or Bellerin. If he's to leave as well, we should sell him for a minimal fee, but insert every kind of clause in that imaginable - just in case!
The real shame about this is that almost of of our outstanding talent coming through at the moment seem to be vying for similar positions in the team / squad. If only we had a Cesc, and Ashley or a TA coming through too...
Barcelona have offered Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho, 28, to Arsenal and Newcastle as they seek to free up funds for the signing of Inter Milan and Argentina forward Lautaro Martinez, 22. (Goal)
I don't know what's worse about this... us now being the loan dumping ground for clubs that we once used to compete (to a degree at least) against, that Kia sinks his filthy fat fingers deeper into Raul's fleshy backside, or that now, as if none of the Wenger, or even GG eras ever happened... we're seen as being on the same sort of level standing in the game as Newcastle.
Remind me again why we left Highbury
If we can get Countinho on loan next season along with a centre back and holding midfielder and keep Auba then we will get top 4 next season
Ceballos AND Coutinho on loan next season, or just Coutinho?
Hmmm guess it depends on how many players we can sell to free up wages. The likes of Ozil, Mkhi, Kolasinac, Mustafi. If if we are able to offload them then every chance we can get Ceballos on loan for another year along with Countinho plus making those few signings. I know it's not exactly going to be easy offloading them as few of them are on big wages but no reason it can't happen!
