Obviously we don't know the details, but it seems like City got off on a technicality based on the timing of when these misdemeanours took place.

You'd think Pep would be a bit more humble in those circumstances. His press conference was embarrassing.

Also, most of City's sponsors have links with the owners. It's openly corrupt. Either what they've done is against the rules or the rules are purposely lax and need changing. Either way, it doesn't reflect well on them.

Money talks.

No need for Guardiola to comment on other managers opinion in the first place. Just shut up and if you asked about it you say: Case is closed. Nothing to say about it.

#afc Arteta on Arsenal’s rebuild: “At the end of the day everything that has to come through our door has to be top, top quality.

“That is the demands of this football club and it cannot be any different. If we have to wait for the right player in order to do that, let’s wait.”

Is that you Arsene?

He's just trying to lower fans expectation in fairness.

Good luck with that though.

Not necessary, Lex.

People who still have high expectations and think we can compete with the big boys are disenchanted.

Let's face it, the only way we're going to be able to compete with City, Liverpool, United etc anytime soon is if they fack off the traditional TV broadcast deals, and allow clubs to organise and sell their own virtual season tickets.

Even then, with our stock plummeting in the overseas market, there'd be no guarantees.
