Where the fack is Fraser going to go? I do wonder. Not good enough for a top 6 side, but I'm sure one will still try to sign him as a squad depth option. Can see him going to Spurs.

Spurs. Ideal for them. Comes on a free.

How long you guys think José will remain at Spurs? Another full season or getting fire in January?

Spurs can't fire Mourinho. They don't have the money for a pay off. Can see him finishing his contract even after returns them to obscurity.

Jack Lisowski trailing Anthony McGill 5-3. Massive final frame of session. Jack really needs it to get back into the match and make it an exciting evening session.

I don't think Levy can neither afford to watch the chip sinking. They could fire him and pay in installment and don't include a clause which stop him joining another club during the term of his contract like they did with Posh.

They already can't borrow from the market. Which is why they had to borrow from the Bank of England. What they can do is adjust incomings from wages saved.

For example the money we saved from not renewing Wilshere and Santi allowed us to spend £27m on Torreira and give a him a 5 year £50k a week contract.

But sunk costs, like on a manager comes out of your budget. Which is why we just can't cut Sokratis and Ozil free eventhough there is not intention of giving them new contracts .

GT, I think there has definitely been interest from Arsenal in Willian. Too many outlets, some of which are fairly reliable, have been reporting it, so you can't say we won't sign him.

It's definitely one we've looked to enquire about.

I just hope we leave it there.

I'm afraid this is gathering pace very fast. Too fast actually just to be agent talk.
Not the wisest move we could make in this window. Or any other TW for that matter.

Willian has refused another bid from Chelsea to extend his contract until June 2022. Still no agreement. Arsenal are now in talks with his representatives to sign him as a free agent - no bids from Barcelona at the moment. 🇧🇷 #AFC #CFC #transfers

He will have one good/decent year just like Cech and then the two following year will be just money down the drain.
And of course, because he is 32 next week we won't be able to sell him at all.
For a club which keep claiming not to have money, we sure know how to waste the little we have.

The guy get checked by Chelsea physio and medical team on the daily/weekly basis and only want to give him a 2 years deal.
But of course his agent saying he can play at the top level for another 4-5 years is the one we should trust.

Admit it m8, it is all because he has a blue (to be) passport.
Would cost half of that if his name was Jadonos Del el Sancho.

That's inflated his price but his stats speak for themselves.

Reminds me of De Bruyne (left an oil club to play in Germany)

I agree with CEG, this signing would send out the wrong message.

People really overrate him too, he's never scored more than 9 league goals (which was this season) and nearly half of those were penalties.

I don't know how we can justify giving him these purported wages when we're supposedly tight with cash and we already have an obscene wage bill as it is.

What if it's Coutinho and William or neither?

Sometimes feels like Joorabchian gets the better half of the deal

The club must be confident on shifting Ozil. That wage bill would otherwise be monstruous.

Were there not also an EPL rule which stipulate clubs wage bill could only increase by a certain percentage on the yearly basis?

Yeah, but those rules have been relaxed I believe due to Covid.
