Arteta clearly focused on sorting out the defence and went too far that way. Now he is struggling to readdress the balance.
His reign hasn't been helped by the behind the scenes issues. Raul and his cronies leaving, Edu suddenly being the main man meaning we have 2 inexperienced people running everything.
Lots of strange buys (Willian, Cedric) and treatment of youngsters (Saliba and Guendouzi especially could have a long term regret). However Gabriel and Partey should be positives

I don't want him gone, but if we don't show up Sunday he has very little credit left. The run of Burnley, Southampton, Everton really needs 9 points before Man City in the Cup and Chelsea boxing day.
