It doesn't matter if you criticise Auba or not. The point is no striker can look good when the supply is Pepe, Willian, Xhaka and Elneny.

Oh come on. Eddie was on loan at Leeds, came back to us, played in Europa and in the league and has showed nothing special.

It's because people are now being diiiiicks to him online (partly because if his form, partly because if balo) that people are now feeling a bit sorry for him, which I get tbh. But there's no future with us for Eddie I'm afraid.

Eddie has never looked good enough for me.
Not now, not in the Europa (when he was playing with the players listed by DJ), not last season when he was starting regularly.

We all want him to do well because he is one of our own but it’s blatantly obvious he is nowhere near good enough. You can make all the excuses and deflect all the blame in the world but it’s still obvious.

I just want to put out there, despite my reservations on Eddie, would still start him over balo every time.

And just look at today for example. Whatever you want to say about him having to play with Willian, Pepe, and Elneny (which I agree with tbf) they don’t affect his lack of strength, inside or outside the box, his lack of pace, lack of first touch, or his erratic (I’m being kind here) shooting ability.

Maybe some of that’ll come with age? But he’s clearly nowhere near good enough atm. So how is he ever going to improve with limited chances at Arsenal?

I’d be madness to offer him a new deal next summer. Not unless it’s purely an extension, without increasing what we’re paying him.

Willian, Pepe and Xhaka are senior players on MUDDAPHACKER wages play a lot of games and are consistently shiete.

Neither Willian nor Pepe and definitely not Eddie will play on Tuesday.

Xhaka will. Hopefully Partey will start and negate his shietness.

Just to be clear, I do not ‘hate Eddie’.

I just want someone to point out what I’m obviously missing about his game.

I can’t think of a single player that has played this amount of minutes for us as he that I’ve yet to think ‘hmm this kid might have something...’ that has gone on to become a decent player for us.

Saliba doing alright so far tonight. Haven't really seen him in all honesty.

He has the ability to be in the right place at the right time. You saw more of it in the second half after Partey came on and we started to play a little more direct. It doesn't sound much but we have seen Laca with the lack of that sense at his time at Arsenal.

Honestly, other than marketing reasons, I don’t know why sports people have Twitter accounts. Hopefully one of Eddie’s ‘people’ run it for him.
