Everything he says is fair enough, he's been great this year and I would have been happy with him as our number 1. I was saying in the summer I'd rather get more money for Leno and stick with Emi, he got kind of a rough deal but Leno doing well for us so what can you do?

In that particular interview, he was probably asked about us, sure, but it does seem like he mentions us quite a lot or that there's always stories about it. For as well as he's done over there, I never see any articles mentioning how well Leno has played for us this season either.

And Emi saying we didn't deserve him comes across as slightly bitter tbh. He'd showed great form over a few months and had done little else before that. Just seems unnecessary.

I guess all we get to see is those few months before he left, whereas he's probably referring to a lot more that happened in his time here.
