The idea of being a role model and a self-sustaining club thrown overboard. Kroenke has only one idea to earn money with the club and not to win trophies. The alarm bells should ring now. Kroenke wants maximal success but not with his own money.

Yeh I agree. Was getting sick of watching Arsenal week in week out perform like a circus act. If anything this will finally kill off any joy I had for watching football. Save me a few quid aswell

AFTV calling it a greedy cash grab is funny tho

I still think this is an elaborate act to get a 'better' deal in the new CL format shakeup. Presumably the clubs would want more cash and a guarantee they would play CL football every year and the proposed shakeup doesn't go far enough?

The founding clubs have spent ‘a number of years’ trying to improve the quality and intensity of European competition...

KSE haven’t even tried to improve the intensity or quality of Arsenal’s facking MF 😑
