Somebody needs to tell Alexsander Ceferin that his cause is best served if he just shuts the FACK UP, otherwise folks might remember what a corrupt organisation UEFA really is πŸ€”

Thomas Tuchel: 'The players were not involved in the decision making. Maybe it's a good thing to step back and not give our opinions about this'

Aleksander Ceferin 'Players who will play in the teams that might play in the closed league will be banned from the World Cup and Euros.'

Might soon be getting opinions from a few players then...

Why did you quote it if you did not believe that will happen? In which case my point that if there are no serious incomings we need a coach experienced in developing youngsters rather one who can only affect change with squad reinforcements.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because it was something the manager said!

Stop reaching for something that doesn't exist, mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

But why was is it relevant to your arguement if you didn't believe it? thats ok maybe I misunderstood.

So just to be clear for me to understand where you stand. Do you think Arteta should remain manager if we don't qualify for Europe next season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't remember it being an argument either for or against selling everyone and starting again. It was merely something that Arteta has foreseen happening - which I posted here.

I've seen enough 'green shoots' to convince me Arteta and Edu are worthy of another transfer window. That's all.

With today's news though... I seriously don't know.

KSE should probably put their money where their mouth is, and get in an experienced manager to replace him. If not, at least bring someone in behind the scenes to mentor him.

But this all brings me back to an earlier question I raised... apart from wanting Arsenal to win every game they play, do any of the remaining fixtures for this season matter now?

I mean, another European trophy would be great, of course. But the NEED to win it seems to have been stripped away now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think all the Super League talk is a negotiation tactic to improve terms of the CL restructure. I don't think the big clubs like Qatar influence in UEFA. All of that is to begin in 2024 so I doubt it changes anything in near term. If anything it makes it more important that Arsenal stay relevant and that means qualifying for the CL.

I said talk of it was. Didn't realise that our management team lack so much judgement that they would call it out and let Emi walk. Emi was in the power position because of his contract and wanted guarantees of starting.

UEFA in the same predicament. Are they going to call it out and risk it happening or are they going sit down and negotiate?
