Yes Odegaard hasnt had the best of games tonight but ESR hadnt either. Clutching on straws here but thought Odegaard more able to make a decisive pass forward than anyone else in our midfield.

What do you do if your manager tells you not to attack? Thats how it looked in the first half. Both Keown and Freddie pretty much spelled it out.

In a game like tonight where there is so much on the line in my own career, I would take personal responsibility and try and make things happen and fire up those around me.
If we win, then great it worked. If we don't, Arteta should be gone so it doesn't really matter. I'd at least try something rather than passively leave the competition.

True - I'm far from blaming just the players. I think Arteta is the main culprit, he has fostered an environment where people are lacking confidence and don't seem to have any idea what is expected of them.
I'm just saying I'm disappointed in the showing from the players as well, over the last 5 years or so.
It seems like we have some weird atmosphere around the club that promotes lethargy in one another.
