Just get Rodgers.

Maybe Leicester will sack Rodgers when he bottles CL qualification again.

Why are you talking about FFP. Arsenal have been spending more than they earn since dropping out the Champions League.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But not over requirements. We needed to adjust more position than one. Yes we bought Thomas for example but at the same time we loaned Torreira. Not that I am the biggest fan of him but it shows what is wrong. We arent ruthless.

No doubt we also made mistakes and overpaid. That isnt Kroenke's fault.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Player decisions always belong to the manager. The director of football goes and gets the players that the manager wants or as close as possible within the budget.

When the manager is unable to get a player like Partey (who was top of his form at Atletico) to perform should be red signal to Josh Kroenke.

Frankly Arteta should have been fired this morning.

Look we all know the owners are toxic and don’t give a feck but it doesn’t mean a more qualified manager won’t have a more positive impact than we have had under Arteta.
______________

That remains to be seen, Bats.

Dont get me wrong. There is no reason for me not to sack Arteta. Just give up on hopes that with our team and the way we doing our business it will change anytime soon.

I agree tbh.

There is no way this squad, even with all it's faults should be sat in 9th place with 49 points.

(a) Money.
(b) Leicester will sell their top players as they always do is unbelievably difficult to build for the future and
(c) We are big club and Rodgers is desperate to prove Liverpool wrong for sacking him.

Not sure if that is right for Arsenal Football Club.

Anyway, season over now. Wont watch Arsenal again until August

Roll on the Euro's.

posted on 7/5/21

Yes it is. Why do you think Arteta was given the title of manager after being initially hired as head coach?

Erm we have also to sell players. And now that we dont play in any international cup next season we have to sell first to get someone else in.

Why have we sold Emi then?

They sell if they get ridiculous offers. So would we. Imagine we had a £80m bid for Gabriel - he would be gone.
They didn't sell anyone of note last summer either.

Yeah, the last stand of Wenger. Proved to be a very bad idea.

Similarly Leicester refused to sell Mahrez around the same time.

Kroenke did not force him to sell. It turned out to be a poor decision by Wenger but it was still his to make.

The only players we want to sell are the ones we don't want. Thats never been the case with any of the other clubs out of the top 6.

Not really. It was a negotiation tactic and they sold him after the player made the fuss.

Liverpool had the same issue with Suarez. But at least they made a stand and got the money they wanted for him and we went to a perceived bigger club!

I really don't know what you are trying to say Dj. Do you think Leicester are a bigger club than Arsenal?
