The Arsenal Thread

As you all know, I'm staunchly KSE OUT!

Now, if my wish were to come true, I don't for one moment think anyone who has paid circa £2bn would accept that everything at the club is rosy.

I would expect there to be consequences for the club being where we currently are, and for heads to roll.

Edu and Vinai certainly. Probably Arteta too.

What I find so funny is posters that want Arteta sacked, also try to make excuses for the people that put us in the position to have to hire him in the first place! It's utterly ridiculous logic.

Name me just ONE appointment, back or front of house, that KSE has made since coming in Arsenal that can be described as a total success.

Any of you.

The closest to a success that I can think of is Tim Lewis. A guy hired to sack the Spanish crook KSE were happy to hand the keys of the club to less than 6 months previously.

Making excuses for KSE is basically sticking up for the people protecting the guy(s) you all want sacked.

Pretty funny.

We'd had 3 CLs and 2 EL and 3 PL titles by now, aye

David Dein to blame.

Seeing the football landscape change, he knew he needed to bring a billionaire businessman into the club.

So he went out and found a guy who loved Arsenal's self-sustaining model.

Incompetence doesn't even begin to cover it.

Still, he made himself a nice little fortune out of it.

Silver linings, eh.

'And there is my issue. There's no evidence of any note, whatsoever, that indicates that he is capable of being one. None. Zero. And I'm not just talking about pre-employment. We've had 18 solid months and we've yet to seen any tangible evidence Arteta has improved any aspect of our game.'

Okay, apologies, Serial and J99.

I thought I made my point pretty clearly. You both appear to have missed it though.

I have to accept the blame for that.

'[KSE] are all also 'learning' after firing Wenger.'

How many more years are you prepared to give them - bearing in mind you want Arteta gone already.

'They don't have a Dein around to guide them.'

They are the owners of the club, so this is totally 100% their fault.

Out of interest, who at the club do you thinking is helping guide the manager?

I ask as you always seem to make excuses for Edu, so presumably you don't believe it's him.

BILD: Arsenal are interested in Edmond Tapsoba. Bayern Leverkusen don’t want to sell but a mega offer above €70m might change that.

He has had one season in Primeira and one in Bundesliga. Played similar number of games as Saliba.
And will fack off to Africa in January.

Which makes me believe this rumour is surely BS?

Can never remember which BILD is the more credible one.

Sport BILD, or... BILD.

Geets?

I agree with this one Lex. Heads need to roll but for me, there is no doubt that Arteta's one has to be included. Now, it all depends on which order.
For all the flaws of Edu and there are a lots of them, he is not the one who persisted with playing Willian. He is not the one who refused to take Ceballos off before he got red carded when everyone else could see it coming. He is not the one who decided to not play a striker in the most important game of the season. At least after watching yesterday's game, we now know where he got the idea from.

As Seebs said, 18 months should be plenty of time to see if a manager can make it.

Personally, the CB position is the least of our priority. Unless we decided to sell one (or two) of our current players.

Thierry Henry back in the Belgium coaching staff. Petey will be dreaming of Martinez/Henry at Arsenal again.

It's in the BILD, Lex.

The report about it isnt exclusive. It's not based on their own research. It's a copy from somewhere else.

See Lex. We are not going to compete. Think we can agree that Chelsea, City and Liverpool will get a place in top 4 next season. Likely United as well.

So we are competing about Europa League maximal. In there Spurs, Leicester and probably Everton.

So to compete with the big boys we need heavily investments. Names like Grealish, Hakimi to begin with.

Buendia, Bissouma needs to be added as well.

Do you expect we doing that madness? I am not. So same procedure as every year.

Naaa GT I think we can compete for the top 4 next season, I wouldn't at all be surprised if Chelsea and Man U struggle next season. Tuchel will probably be sacked in December, Man United luck will run out as well, it's just a question of what can we do though and depends on what sort of players we bring in.
