Well Eduardo was signed right after Henry left and was given the number 9, a shirt number traditional handed to strikers.

Oh and he played quite a few games as striker and from the left, where Henry used to play.

So YEAH he replaced Henry in every aspect, CASTOR TU

Don't remember him starting many games that season (pre injury of course), rvp got injured and hleb played behind Adebayor a lot

Think there was still some doubt as to what van persies proper position was when Henry left. Winger, cam, CF, he could play the lot. He had a good half season in 08/09 which convinced Wenger to sell ade I think
