Yeh, we need another midfielder, but I don't think we'll add to the roster, unless we sell. Arteta is looking at Partey and Xhaka as his number 1 CM choice. Then Lokonga to fill in, with Ødegaard and Ains playing in CM, when needs must. So the chances of getting another CM is very slim.
We need a new Striker. Laca will probably leave, but if Arteta is actually going to stay long term then Aubameyang needs to go as well. He doesn't fit into whatever way Arteta wants to play, and definitely isn't a proper captain. Tbh, we could also do with the drop in wage bill. Don't need passengers in the squad.

We still havent enough competition in some positions. If someone gets injured we are in trouble.
Look. Odegaard knows exactly that he will play against Villa, Thomas probably alike. The truth is Odegaard shouldnt play at all. With these kind of performances the manager need to make changes. Odegaard needs to earn his place and fight for it. We all know he will start.

It's that discussion again on why these attacking players are playing poorly. Imo, there's only a handful of players that have played consistently well this season: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu and Gabriel. The first two only playing a few games.
Also these are defensive players, with none of the attackers playing well consistently. There's no one here that can convince me our issues are just a case of 5-6 out of form, in every game

I think these players should be achieving 6th, fairly comfortably. With some luck, and with one or two top 6 clubs dropping down with poor form, maybe a jammy top 4 finish?
The fact we're a solid midtable side is alarming.

Why? Tierney used to perform better for Celtic than for us. Same with Partey and even our new RB. Feck, you could even argue that Ode used to perform better for Sociedad. So why you’re not willing to question our coaching staffs?
